This is our English foundation course and is aimed at beginners, non-technical users and technical staff who will be using the English query language.

Prerequisites: A basic familiarity with the Reality system and the structure of accounts, files and items

Contents: We cover the essential features of English statements and the English language:

• Displaying and printing reports

• Selection criteria

• Sort specifications

• Control-breaks

• Totals and subtotals

• Modifiers

We go on to look at select-lists, and saved-lists.

There is additional material on looking at dictionary definitions.

The Course applies the principles of English to a set of Course files and also to the student's own database
