This is a programming foundation course aimed at technical staff and anyone who needs to write and to maintain programs in Basic for Advanced Pick systems This Course is suitable for anyone working on Advanced Pick and D³ systems. Prerequisites: We assume a familiarity with Advanced Pick, files and items to the level reached on either of the introductory courses AP1: Moving to D³ or AP2: Starting D³. We do not assume that the participant has written computer programs in any other language Contents: We cover the essential features of the language: the structures, the statements and functions, and we look at aspects of structured and modular programming. The course offers ample opportunity to gain practice in program maintenance and techniques for designing, developing and debugging programs are introduced Printed version:
