This course is aimed at programmers who have experience programming with third generation languages such as Cobol, Pascal, FORTRAN or another dialect of Basic, and who now wish to move to a MultiValue system.

Prerequisites: A knowledge of Pick and some experience of writing programs in a third generation language

Contents: This is an intensive course in which the participants are exposed to all the features of the Basic language as it is implemented on MultiValue systems.

Participants will apply these to any of a number of class projects or to a specific project of their own choice
