This course is aimed at programmers with at least 3 months' practical experience of writing programs in Basic on a MultiValue system, and who wish to brush up their programming techniques and skills. The course is suitable for all dialects of Basic on MultiValue systems This Course is suitable for anyone working on: Advanced Pick and D³ jBASE Reality mv·BASE Power95 QM R83 and generic MultiValue SB+ UniData Ultimate Universe systems. Prerequisites: In addition to having already mastered the fundamental features of the Basic language, participants will derive greater benefit from the course if they have had some practical experience in writing and developing programs on MultiValue systems Contents: We cover a number of techniques – particularly in the areas of program structures and data structures – and we extend the material presented on any of the foundation courses BASIC1: Programming in Basic or BASIC4: Programming in Basic on D³ or BASIC3: Moving to Basic or BASIC5: Moving to Basic on D³ During the course, there is ample opportunity for participants to pursue any specific areas in which they feel that they need practice Printed version:
