This course is aimed at technical staff who need to be able to establish attribute definitions and manipulate Pick dictionaries. The course is suitable for those who will be using Access, English, Recall, Info/Access and other dialects of the query language on a MultiValue system.

The course ACCESS4: AQL dictionaries for D³ covers the version of the language offered on Advanced Pick & D³ systems

This Course is suitable for anyone working on R83 and generic MultiValue systems.

Prerequisites: We assume a familiarity with the Access language to the level reached on the course ACCESS1: Starting Access

Contents: We cover the nature and the contents of the Pick file dictionaries and Access attribute definitions with particular attention to the Access conversion and correlative codes.

We also introduce some general techniques for the creative use of attribute definitions
