Watermelon welcomes Katy Moffatt to its roster with a beautiful new country-flavored album co-produced by Katy and Tom Russell. Tom calls "Hearts Gone Wild" a recording with "a strong singer-songwriter basis." It includes five songs co-written by Tom and Katy, as well as three co-written by Rosie Flores and Katy. Rounding out the sounds are Andrew Hardin on Guitars, Larry Campbell (who has played with Cyndi Lauper and Dough Sahm) on steel guitar and Steve Holley (Joe Cocker and Paul McCartney) on drums.
"Moffatt is a fabulous singer with great presence"--Michael Tearson, Audio Magazine
"Everything else being equal, which, of course, it never is, I'd as soon listen to a woman singing than a man, and as between women, I'd as soon listen to Katy Moffatt than anybody else."--John Conquest, Music City Texas
