Kingston beekeepers, Jim and Colin introduce the bees to a couple of our younger visitors

Surbiton MP Edward Davies discovers honeybees can be friendlier than voters.

Anyone for honey or candles?
The tea and cakes flowed free again last year.

The open day was just buzzing with people last year.

See the adult bees storing honey inside our glass walled Observation Hive, Sing 'Happy Birthday' as each bee hatches -1000 a day, and translate their dance language while you watch.

Have a go yourself dress up in a white bee suit and take a guided tour round the inside of an active honeybee colony. A great chance for some hands on beekeeping experience. Bee clothing provided. Recommended you bring your own wellies.

Refreshments, honey sales and tasting, Skep-making demostration, answers to most of your honey and bee questions, and a chance to get stung by a fascinating (and profitable) ecologically friendly hobby.
