Mothers
by Kathy Randle
23.03.2006

A mother is constant, loving, caring
Like a soft warm cushion
That you can snuggle up to
And forget the world.

A mother lets you know
How much you are loved.

Mother's Day
by Jean Watt
23.03.2006

I said once that I wanted to get my own

place, my mother was annoyed at this and said:

What's wrong with it here, isn't this good enough for

you? I never broached the subject again.

Memories of My Mother
by Jean Watt
23.03.2006

Always wearing a hat and gloves
When going out, my mother was
Always neat and tidy,
She made her own dresses
And mine as well.
We were good friends and almost
Knew each other's thoughts
So close were we. She's been gone
Many a year now, but I still reckon all
Dates and events from when she died.

MOTHER'S DAY MAKES ME CRY
by Patsy Futatsugi
23.03.2006

When I'm asked about my mum
I get a lump in my throat
And I know the years of her going
Because my grandson
Was born the year of her death.

MOTHER
by Serajul Islam Molla
23.03.2006

Mother's Day makes me cry
Because I lost my mother
When I was three
Still I believe, I will meet her in Heaven
If there is any!

I tried to find my mother's image
When I saw my friends's mother
But it only made me ask
why my mother is not HERE!
Why -- why?

On the Day of special memory
I went to an open field to cry
Leaving everybody behind
Our servant found me crying!

And brought me back to the real world.

Ever Dearest, Dear Mum
by Eppi Caredda
Autumn 2007

Dear Mum, you mean the world to me.
You lifted me when I couldn't stand.
Your eyes sprakled when I was happy
You were beside me when I was afraid.
You comforted me when I was sad.
#You brought me strength when I was weak
You gave me your wisdom when I was lost.
Yes, Mum, you loved me
     No matter what I am.
Oh, I love you, My Ever Dearest Mum!
