UPS TO HANDLE FRED’S MODEL WORLD SHIPPING-IMPORTANT-PLEASE READ!!!
Having put up with lost shipments, high prices, poor shipping service and hauling 2500+ packages per year off to the post office, I have decided to switch to UPS. I have had the same UPS driver deliver my incoming shipments for 6 years, and he finally convinced me to make the switch. Packages will now be shipped to the following customers via UPS Groundtrac service, which offers the same delivery time as Priority Mail and the ability to track your package:

-U.S. All customers except those having a post office box. I am urging those with Post Office boxes that if it is possible for UPS to deliver a package to your home address please let me know. If it’s not possible, your shipments will remain delivered via Priority Mail. I will only be making 2 runs per week to the post office, so expect shipments 1-3 days later than in the past;
-Overseas and Canadian customers will remain with U.S. Postal as UPS fees for foreign countries are higher. I am strongly suggesting insurance if you are ordering many kits or a few that are costly.

If the UPS experiment results in excessive or lost packages, poor service, etc., I may switch back to the Post Office.
UPS NEXT DAY AND SECOND DAY AIR WILL BE AVAILABLE AT EXTRA COST IF YOU DESIRE, AS WELL AS DELIVERY CONFIRMATION, SIGNATURE REQUIRED, ETC.

I will hold orders for two weeks.
If you need more time than that to pay, please let me know so an exception can be made.
Failure to pay within the allotted time period will place you on my blacklist, which means no more kit sales.

**Shipping and Handling:**
As of June 30, 2002, shipping for all orders will be quoted when the order is placed.
HOW TO PAY: Money orders and bank cashier’s checks are preferred payment methods. Checks will be accepted when you have placed a second order. MAKE PAYMENT OUT TO: FRED STERNS
