This web page has grown out of my interest in my JENNINGS family name. To date I've traced my direct family line back to the 1700's in the County of Kent, England. In doing this I've uncovered much about my ancestors, their lives, occupations and the places they lived.
From the village of Little Chart, Kent around 1700, the trail leads to nearby High Halden, Biddenden, Cranbrook and on towards London (Deptford, previously in Kent) in the latter half of the nineteenth century.
