Scavenger Hunt - June 11

We’re going to have a photo scavenger hunt around
scenic Lake Glenview!! Bring your digital camera (or bring someone who has one);
we’ll pass out pictures of objects that you need to find and snap a picture of
it to confirm you found it. This is going to be a team sport: we’ll break out
the scavengers into a few teams to get your competitive juices flowing. And to
keep your salivary juices moist, we’ll have a small bar stop mid-hunt! Prizes
will be awarded for various categories such as Fastest Team to Locate All Items,
Most Original Picture, Funniest Picture, etc. After the hunt, we’ll take all
digital cameras to Casa d’J9 for a viewing and judging of the pictures. $15 per
person will give you access to the mid-scavenge bar stop, post-scavenge pizza,
post-scavenge libations as well as a few hours of good giggles. Please send an

enough beverages are available!
Highland Woods Golf - June 18

Cost:Golf & Cook-out - $66; cook-out only - $15
Individual (real) golf on the front nine and golf a best ball scramble for
one score for your foursome on the back. After golf we will head to Carl's
estate (a quick 15 minutes north of the course) for a cook out, some adult
beverages (Jagermeister is optional), volleyball, socializing, buffoonery and
just hanging out. We might even have some valuable prizes.
6th Annual Broken Oar Bike Ride - Sunday, July 10
Time:10:00AM
Place: Depart from Palatine , 1256 East Cooper Drive
Cost: No cost for this event, just show up and ride with your fellow Goats!
This 18 mile, one way, bike outing will be on county roads that for the most part are moderately traveled and take us
to the Broken Oar pub in located on the Fox River. The roads while not traffic free are moderately traveled by other vehicles.
The ride out normally takes 1 1/2 hours so we arrive before the normal crowds.
The Broken Oar offers food and adult beverages
which can be imbibed (for those in Rio Linda, that means swilling) in an outdoor setting on the Fox River. Our return trip will begin about 1:30 or when
ever the group decides. There will be a "sag wagon" as well as a pit stop at Cuba Bog Forest Preserve
on both the outbound and return trips. Join us for a fun filled day of biking and camaraderie.

Cost: TBD Join your friends for an evening of music under the stars. Several Ibex members will
stake out and reserve a comfortable place on the lawn for our group of 20. So, bring your favorite wine and picnic food for and join
us for and evening of fun. Purchase your tickets one of our regular meetings on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays
of the month.
Lake Geneva Bike and Bar Tour - Saturday September 17th
Time: 11:00 AM
Place: Lake Geneva, Wisconsin
Cost: $0, Zero, Zilch! This ride begins and ends in downtown Lake Geneva. The 20 some mile ride around
the lake will find us stopping in 5 local, and might I say memorable pubs. The longest distance between watering
holes is 5 miles so no one should suffer from thirst. After the ride we will gather in a a local
eatery to exchange
horror stories about the ride an be sure we won't be hungry for the trip home. Stay tuned and check back often for
additional details about this annual event that is growing in popularity.
For those who want a bit more
activity
that day, several members will be riding their bikes up to Lake Geneva. This is a 52 mile ride that will depart about
about 6:45AM. Stay tuned for additional info.
Fall Colors Golf Outing - Saturday & Sunday 24th & 25th
of September
Time: First Tee at about 9:00 Saturday.
Place: Wisconsin Dells
Cost: $189 per person. This annual summer's end golf event features two rounds of golf, one night hotel and
breakfast at one of the finest abodes in the Dell's. As we go to press the details are being ironed out so be
sure to check back often and then sign up for a weekend of great golf and fun with your fellow Ibexers.
Fox River Bike Outing Saturday, October 8th

like most of our bike excursions. Just bring your wallet so you can
partake in the festivities at the adult beverage stops along the way. For
those of you in Rio Linda, that means "Pub & Grub" establishments. This
ride is will be on the Fox River Trail with only a mile or so in St. Charles on
city streets.
