Richard Goodchild is my maternal 3x Great Grandfather. He was born in Monks Risborough, Buckinghamshire, England. In the 1851 Census Richard's age is stated as 72. This would make his year of birth around 1779. However, the IGI records show the baptism of Richard (parents John and Elizabeth) as being on 30 March 1783, but this could have been a late baptism.Richard married Sarah CHARGE at St Michael & All Angels Church, Hughenden on 5 June 1805. Sarah was baptised at Hughenden on 18 March 1787. Sarah died on 6 December 1839.
