Bands

Hot Cider
FCD's own, much-loved band, a fixture at our Nevada City dances. Rudy Darling (fiddle), Barry Angell (mandolin), Ken Nilsson (guitar), and Mark Botic (bass).

The Fiddlerats
Terrell Liedstrand (guitar & mandoline), Caroline McCaskey (fiddle), Cole Ingraham (flute and djembe), Eric Anderson (piano). These exceptionally talented young musicians play with incredible verve and energy, and they are at their best when anchored by veteran contra pianist Eric Anderson.

The Moving Violations
Van Kaynor (fiddle), Ron Grosslein (fiddle, mandolin), Becky Ashenden (piano), Chuck Corman (bass) Ask 10 well-traveled dancers from around the country to name their top three contra bands, and you might very well hear every single one of them cite this amazing band from western Massachusetts.

Callers

Nils Fredland (New Hampshire)
Jeremy Korr (southern California)
Joyce Miller (Grass Valley)
