FLAT ELVIS CHRISTMAS 2006
The Elvis Club of Albuquerque invited me to their Christmas party at Route 66 Diner. Christmas is such a special time and how enjoyable it was to be there to enjoy a delicious meal and visit with my fans. The Christmas gift exchange was a big hit with everyone. Playing Santa was certainly fun for me.	Albuquerque New Mexico Visiting Margaret Freisinger Route 66 Diner set aside the back room for The Elvis Club of Albuquerque Christmas party. Margaret wanted me to be right in the middle of it all and if you look really close you can see me. This is a captured moment of an enjoyable time.	On this trip, I finally met Angel, another one of my Albuquerque fans. What a lovely smile Angel.
Visiting Heather Hale Merry Christmas Baby, this is my favorite holiday! I’m in Cincinnati, Ohio with Heather, and this is her dog Mocha. I had a great time visiting with her family and friends. Heather took me to a store called Jungle Jim’s while I was in Cincinnati. The store specializes in products from all over the world. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this 10 foot tall Elvis hound dog. Every three minutes he sings 3 of my songs. Since it was Christmas time, naturally they were all of my Christmas songs. He even sways his hips as he plays the guitar!	Cincinnati, Ohio You can tell this guy didn’t have a Blue Christmas! I even taught him how to smile just right! I spent another day at ABC Early Childhood Learning Center, where Heather is a teacher for the school age children. I was impressed that most of the young children in Heathers class knew who I was. I guess that’s because Heather has mentioned me a time or two!	I met Heathers friend Jenni at this Christmas celebration This is Heathers bedroom. It’s decorated in pink and black with the main theme being ELVIS! This is a shelf above her bed that I am standing on that has several figures of me! She even has musical notes that outline the border of her walls, and a Graceland sign. Her lamp plays Hound Dog, and another figure plays All Shock Up!, which is how I felt the first time I walked into this room. My trip to Cincinnati, Ohio was very exciting and I want to say thank you, thank you very much Heather for being a great hostess!

Barb brought me back here a the Omni, which is now the CNN Center, where I performed in 72	Here I am with Barbara's husband and his friends getting ready for a game.	Check out the golf carts. Barbara is showing me around the school and tells me that the students drive these golf carts to school.
Las Vegas, Nevada Visiting Sue Lorenz Well, it's me again, back in Vegas. Just cant stay away from that town. this time I am the guest of sue L, who has lived in Las Vegas since 1964. (hmmm, I had barely finished 'Viva Las Vegas!') I was introduced to sue by my friend Sandi, during the Viva Las Vegas fan club birthday party they were holding for ME! Celebrating my Birthday in Vegas	I had met Sue briefly before during the unveiling of the statue at the Hilton, but now we will be partners for awhile. Sue is the President of the club and I can easily tell she sure knows how to TCB! It was really nice to have them sing happy birthday to me. My friend 'Reno, a former security guard at the International, was given the honor of blowing out my candles. I met a fantastic group that day and I have been told we are gonna have more fun in the near future! Sue told me she went with a couple of her club members to decorate the statue at the Hilton. (hmm, I wasn't able to come along on such short notice). Check out that picture, isn't that decorated nice? Everyone coming into the Hilton can see I am still thought of by my fans. that's really nice... thanks, everybody! Jan 8 I know I was a busy squirrel on my birthday, but I had to make an exception for a very special fan of mine, to visit her in the hospital. She wants her privacy, so let me just call her "J". "J" is recovering from some serious injuries. Her family wanted me to visit as a special surprise. so I went with Sue, and a couple of her club members, Robin and Sonny. Well, as for Sonny, not only is he a big fan of mine, but he likes to sing my songs. (Robin made the arrangements so he could come sing that night) "J" was really happy to see all of us. Sue took me over to "J" and oh, the happy smile on her face to see me was worth the effort I made to visit her. She did not let go of me the whole 2 hour visit! I am glad I made her so happy! we had the pleasure of Sonny singing to us, most especially to hear "J"'s 2 favorite songs, 'Follow that Dream' and "Welcome to My World". I was really glad I had been welcomed into "J"'s world for this evening. To make other people happy is what I love to do most.	Cathy, Sandi & Monica Vickie & Steve
Carmel, Indiana Visiting Paul and Kay Lipps Special Guest Jerry Schilling I arrived in Carmel, Indiana to visit my friends Kay & Paul Lipps. They took me to Portage, Indiana to be a guest at their annual Portage Charity Event, Elvis Fantasy Fest. This is all done in my honor. They have been doing this event for 14 years.	Hey Jerry it is about time you wrote a book. Thank you for telling our story with accuracy, I am proud of your book and proud to have had you for my friend for so many years.	All of the profits from these Elvis events go to charity in my name. To date, my fans have given over $172,000 to this event. Steve Christopher
	Las Vegas, Nevada Super Bowl Sunday Here I am having a great time watching the Super Bowl game with friends at a private Super Bowl party at the Imperial Palace.
Silver Springs, Maryland Here I am with my good friends Ruth and Steve Shephard in Maryland. Ruth and Steve owns the house next door to their house and it is their Elvis House. I am everywhere in that house. Here I am with Ruth in her office. Check out the Elvis quilt on the bed. Ruth even has Elvis dishes. This was my bed from my Hillcrest house. Ruth and Steve bought it.	Ruth took me to Washington, DC for the traditional National Tree Lighting. This was a labor of love for Ruth. It was 25 degrees and the wind was blowing! We couldn't find a parking place. Finally we found a place to park 10 blocks away. Boy this lady really loves me to walk 10 block in the freezing cold. Took forever to get through security and got up near the tree around 5:10 PM - The opening of the ceremony was tat 5:00 PM. We stood there for 50 minutes listening to Christmas music and watching Santa Dance around the stage. Finally President Bush, to a very warm welcome I might say, appeared and said his stuff and they lit the tree and I was so excited! I had never seen the tree lighting before Here we are at the White House. I remember when I came here and met with President Nixon! That was thrilling. Ruth introduced me to Diane her banker, Diane is a big fan of mine.	Ruth took me with her to the beauty salon to meet her hairdresser. I finally rode in a corvette. This one has my name on it. Check out the parking sign on the garage it says "Elvis Fans Only" I begged Ruth to buy me a Department of Justice FBI hat from one of the vendors. She couldn't say no!
Yorba Linda, CA Here I am in California visiting Corinne Loomis Everyone knows how much I love law enforcement. So, a few days ago, I spent the day at the Placentia (Ca) Police Department. I began my shift by checking out the rifles in the Armory. An officer must be prepared for any situation! We stopped by Communications to help Dispatcher Linda Taylor dispatch the officers in the field, run suspect and vehicle checks on the computer and answer the 911 calls. I went out on patrol with Officer Frank Spann, where I used my Federal Narcotics badge to make a drug arrest.	I also rode along with Traffic Officer Andy Dean, stopping motorists and telling them to slow down, just like I used to do in Memphis! I was thrilled to assist Officer Dean as he wrote a traffic ticket to one driver who did not heed his warning. The driver had a warrant, so I helped Officer Larry Worden make the arrest.	Me and Office Joe Connell go to the jail. They get the fingerprint machine ready to roll the suspect's prints. Then they make sure the phone's working so the arrestee can make his phone calls. "Hey mom! You won't believe who arrested me today"! I checked out the jail facilities to make sure they're ready for the prisoner. Hey, police work isn't always glamorous! I had a great time with Corrine and all the other officers, thanks for a fun time..
Las Vegas I'm back visiting Sue Lorenz In Las Vegas. This time Sue took me back to Memphis to a BBQ and to meet a few people. Sue grabbed me again one evening to get a bite to eat. 'Wait til you see this place!' , she said. "You might feel like you are home!". When we walked into Memphis BBQ, boy, did it smell good, and the place felt comfortable, especially when I was hearing old blues and rock n roll coming from the juke box. We had good tasting ribs and lots of side dishes. Then Sue said, 'You've got to see this painting!'	It turns out my back had been towards this large mural. Well, look at that! There's scenes of Memphis: the riverboat, looks like Billie Holliday up there, and I saw my friend BB King. Then I recognized ME! Well, I had to check that out a little closer. How cool is that? I tell ya, it's nice place to eat if you are in southwest Vegas. Sue had invited 3 former security guards to lunch at the Hilton. Oh my gosh, I hadn't seen Alex, Richard, and Bruno in years! Man, I really enjoyed hearing their stories and could I remember all the crazy damn things we used to do at the International Hotel. I considered you my friends. Great being with you guys again!	Sue wanted me to meet Sammy Shore really bad. She went to see the Tony Orlando show at the Orleans. We had a great time at the show. Tony is an incredible performer. A big treat was seeing Sammy do his act. What memories that brought back! After the show, Sue waited patiently for the looongest time to get back stage. I was starting to fidget and felt really restless. Finally, Sue got the nerve to approach someone who was going in. Well! This lady was so nice she took us back to see Sammy, telling us he would be so excited to meet us! Sue got Sammy's autograph on a book he'd written, a photograph, and told him how I was on tour again. It was really great to see Sammy. So here is our picture together!
Waynesboro, PA Visiting Bobbi Turner Here I am with Bobbi on her vacation she takes me back home and to West Virginia... Bobbi with FE in West Virginia "My Lady Bobbi took us to a wonderful trip through Wild and Wonderful West Virginia and it was so wild, she still has her hand on my butt!" FE outside the Memphian Theatre. "Here I am back in my old stompin' grounds, the Memphian Theatre. I wonder what they got for me and my friends to watch tonight."	In my old seat at the Memphian Theatre... "Oh yes, this is my favorite seat at the Memphian, feels good to have my butt back in this seat again." Bobbi and I won the Friday Trivia Contest on the Elvis Radio Channel 13, Sirius Radio. "Man, this woman is not only pretty, but she is smart too. I see she is going home with 1st prize."
Greer, South Carolina Visiting Harry & Linda Elstob Here I am, still in South Carolina---I found a house that looks like Graceland.. don't remember the chimney being crooked like that though. Here I am with Linda helping her through her chemo--nasty stuff--I'm glad I could be here to help her. she said breast cancer came back after eight years. She says thank you , thank you very much for visiting..	Here I am with Harry....enjoying a black angus NY strip.. boy O boy it was good. Been hot here in SC--reminds me of back home.. I just love the southern hospitality I know and love.. I met this real nice guy--reminds me of someone I know. Did a real good job.. he's 67 and has been doing a tribute to me since 1955. His name is Sherman Arnold from Michigan, originally a Carolina boy...I don't know how he moves like that being such an old man. LOL.	We went to visit Diane in her Elvis room. Man she's got a lot of stuff.. I can't believe Harry n Linda's Elvis room either. Actually they started with an Elvis room but eventually I took over the whole house. There is not a room that I'm not in...even the bathrooms. They tell me they have saved everything of me since 1956. I hope my head don't get so big I can't get out the door or back in my envelope. Hi baby, had a great time visiting SC.... where will I be going next? If memory serves me right, I think there are only two states left I haven't visited. I'm looking forward to getting back to Memphis in August.... will be great to see so many of my fans together again.. see you soon for my next trip.. love you for all you do. E
France Hawaii Tennessee With Mireille Del Biondo These flags above represent my travel while visiting with Mireille. I was sent back to France at the request Mireille. She took me to the United States on her vacation to Hawaii and Memphis. I return to see Mireille Del Biondo in France. Very happy to come back in this little town where the first time I have a lot of pleasure to relax to comeback in this little town. But this time it will be different. Just when I arrive the family tell me that they have a big surprise . Soon we go to Paris to take the train and take 3 planes !! I really don't know where we are going ...but I was very tired . After this terrible travel we arrive....and Where ?? In HAWAII ..Yes so incredible ..French people bring me in my favorite land !!! It was late and the first thing we do was to sleep.... In the morning we watch Waikiki beach !! always marvellous ...The girls were very happy to be there. We take a break in a Pizza hut....hummmmmmmmm	The family had got a lot project ..like the Sea Life Park where the girls ( Meghann and Tiffany ) go to swim with dolphins The journeys are very great with Mireille and the family ..They are so happy to be there and understand why I love Hawaii so much ...Like Hawaiien says " Enjoy and relax " After we go to see the pineapple plantation....the girls are happy to have me for this trip ... Very funny to see how the pineapples grows!! we take the train and we see all the plantation and of course eat this incredible fruit Hummmm a litte relax now with the beautiful sea ...Mireille laugh a lot because I have a lot sand in my head and my hair ...	All the family tell me to be a little crazy ..HI HI ...then we go to the swimming pool now....but there I take relax with François ..the girls are in the water of course ..never tired HI HI Surprises are always there with this great family..How happy I was when I see my hall concert of 73... Now the name is Blaisdell center ..Mireille had a lot of chance to speak with Marylin who help her to go inside the hall..oh Mireille was so happy to be there and she imagines the concert in 73...a lot of emotions in this moment with me near her What a marvellous trip there ..we see Diamond head ..Pearl Habor ..the North shore ..a very good time ..I was thinking that now we go home but NO...... Mireille tells me that they got another surrpise and that it's the time to take 2 planes !! The girls enjoy to have me at the airport where we have a lot fun ......yes because we must wait 7 hours at Chicago to go in another town ..but where ?????????
Oh my God !! I can't imagine that ..Return home ..return at Graceland ..Me there, at the Memphis airport ..It was very hard for me do not cry . I was so happy Immediately the girls want to see Graceland..Tiffany does a drawn about my house and she was so incredible to there now in front of the house .. We have a lot of fun to be in all the places ..and funny to see people when they see me ..all tell me hello ..and they want to make pics with me	Mireille takes a lot of pictures in Graceland hi hi ..me in the TCB rom...my last costum etc etc...The girls go twice in side Graceland They bring me at the Mis South coliseum ..very sad to know that they are going to destroy it !! Another big surprise ..Go to Audubon Drive !! Oh my first house that I love so much ...Mike sells the house and now they are doing some news ..not lovely news..they distroy the swimming pool. Mireille was so sad and choc !!!!!!!!!! and me too.... MANY THANKS TO MIREILLE AND HER FAMILY, I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME WITH THEM!!	Oh a little trip to Tupelo too ..How all is very lovely there ..We enjoy a lot to see the little house and all they do for me there After such good journeys the family tells me that it's time to return home. The plane is here and another time we are at the airport ..very sad to go there because all want to stay at Memphis .. When we arrive at Paris a friend of Mireille wait us ...She was so happy to see me ...of course she is a big fan too ........ How can I say much then a thanks to Mireille How happy she makes me to bring me at Hawaii and Memphis ..my town ...I will never forget this trip with this family !!!!! and the same for us ...they will never forget this travel with me ..Mireille was so sad when I returned home without her .......she miss Memphis so much ..........see you another time ..don't cry baby................
