Photo by Megan Murphy	New York RICK SPRINGFIELD CONCERT ROCK STAR/ ACTOR "Not only do I have Jesse's girl, but I also have Carole and Nereida (Russ Howe's girls) too!”	Nereida and Carole back stage in New York with Rick Springfield at his concert. Rick Springfield is not only a rock star, he's also an actor. He plays Doctor Noah Drake on the popular soap opera, "General Hospital" Elvis inspired many entertainers, and for many he paved the way for them!
If you get to Vegas go visit Tom at the Sun Coast he is great!	Las Vegas, Nevada "An Evening With Dean And Friends" Starring TOM STEVENS Cathy and Frank Saladino took me to see Tom Stevens who has a show at the Sun Coast Casino in Las Vegas. Tom did wonderful Impressions of many artists including my favorites, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. Oh yes, and he also did me! After the show he agreed we should have our photo taken together. I was invited to come back to Bev's house in Clovis, Ca. She said I just had to get here fast because she knew I would want to meet Mario Andretti , the famous Italian race driver. Mario Andretti appeared at the Firestone Tire store for four hours signing autographs. There was a huge turnout of fans.	Fresno California MARIO ANDRETTI Mario Persicone, Flat Elvis & Mario Andretti	Bev's son, also named Mario took me out to meet the famous race driver. I too wanted his autograph. Now I know what it is like to stand in line to get a autograph. Bev's son Mario, also a race driver, had his race helmet autographed. Mario Andretti told me that he always liked my singin', especially when I sang the Italian version of "It's Now Or Never." Well I am off again, I just flew in for this event. Have to go check my schedule to see where my tour is taking me next.
Stump filled in for Ronnie Tutt in the mid 70's when he was on leave - and then we used him again in Wisconsin in June of 77. Good to see that he's still in the business and still performing!	Las Vegas, Nevada JEROME STUMP MONROE Here I am at the J.W. Marriot Hotel in Summerlin and look who is appearing here!!!!!! None other than Jerome "Stump" Monroe.	Stump has also played with Wilson Pickett, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, Gladys Knight and the Pips, and also Ricky Nelson to name but a few.
Bev took me to meet Sammy Kershaw. He performed a outdoor concert in Fresno, CA. at Woodward Park.. After the show he signed autographs, and talked to the fans, which was nice to see since most entertainers these days do not mingle with their fans like I used to do Sammy was nice enough to have his picture taken with me, he was not sure what Flat Elvis was all about, so Bev had to explain to him.	Fresno, California Country Music singer SAMMY KERSHAW Some of Sammy's hits are: He Drinks Tequila, Cadillac Style, She Don't Know She’s Beautiful, I Can’t Reach Her Anymore, Love Of My Life, Don’t Go Near The Water, Haunted Heart, Third Rate Romance, Queen of My Double Wide Trailer.	While I was watching Sammy's concert it made me really miss being on stage. Bev said that Kiss Country Radio station does these outdoor summer concerts all summer so I'm sure I will get to go to more of them.
While in Las Vegas Cathy told me that Cynthia Pepper was hangin' out at the Elvis-A-Rama Museum and of course I just had to see her. I have not seen Cynthia in a long time. Cynthia was my co-star in my movie, "Kissin Cousins," and I had a fun time with her on the set, she was a lot of fun to work with and she was a real gracious lady. Memphis, TN Megan Murphy & Henrik Knudsen took me to a recording session with Wenche Hartmann (center), The Bellamy Brothers, and Bobby Wood of The Memphis Boys. THAT WAS FUN BEING BACK IN THE STUDIO

Ed Bonja was my personal tour Photographer, and good friend.	Las Vegas, NV PHOTOGRAPHER ED BONJA AND CO-STAR DARLENE TOMPKINS Here I am at the Viva Las Vegas Fan Clubs "Tiger Man Returns" Event at the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas	So good to meet up with Darlene again - she co-starred with me in Blue Hawaii. I think she is as amazed as I am that all these folks still remember me and gather together as friends. Darlene Tompkins co-starred with me in "Blue Hawaii", she played Patsy Simon. Darlene comes from a show biz family.
New York In New York with Carol Mason, & Nereida Howe	RUBEN STUDDARD Carol Mason, Ruben Studdard & Nereida Howe	The girls took me to meet American Idol winner, Rubin Studdard. Nice guy and I wish him lots of luck in his singing career.
Fresno, California COUNTRY SINGER NEAL MC COY Bev took me to a outdoor concert at Woodward Park to see her favorite country singer, Neal McCoy. Wow! This was a real treat to me Neal does a very high energy show, and he is a fantastic entertainer and singer. That boy is very talented and can rock the house. From the minute he stepped on stage until he left the stage the fans were on their feet singing and having a good time. I also got to meet Bucky, who was on American Idol. He was Neal's opening act. He did a excellent job.	I was able to have my photo taken with Neal before his show. When you see Neal you always see a smile. He is much like I was with my fans, he will always stop for a fan and talk to them.	Neal doesn't forget his roots and appreciates his fans
Las Vegas, Nevada A quick trip back to Vegas to visit Sue.	COMEDIAN MARTY ALLEN	Went to see Sonny West while in town, arrangements were made for Sue and me to see comedian Marty Allen in his new show. I was thrilled to be invited to come along. Marty used to party with me all the time on the 30th floor suite, so I took advantage of the moment to take my photo with him.
