END OF SEASON REPORT 2000/2001

Camelot 1

Div 3 Herts. League.

We have had an excellent first half this season, being unbeaten and only once forced to a draw. Following news of Andrea's pregnancy she has been replaced a great new shooter Laura Snailham.

We have maintained a squad of eight throughout the season which has helped us to play consistently well. I have not yet received the halfway results but fully expect to find Camelot 1 at the top of the table. We plan to remain there for the rest of the season!
Chris Rigby (Captain Camelot 1)

Good luck to Andrea who is due imminently.

Camelot 2

Div 1 Hemel Hempstead League

Having been relegated last season into the Hemel League, Camelot 2 have re-grouped and put in some excellent performances. They now stand top of Division 1 in the Hemel League, having lost only one game this half season.

Camelot 3

Div 1 Hemel League

Initially an uncertain start to the season having lost our star shooter (Claire) to a back injury and never having really re-grouped from losing our GA Carol Smith last season . A number of players have attempted to fill Claire's position but initially we struggled to find consistency. Yvonne and Terri have put up a battling performance, (sometimes literally in the case of Terri), and with the help and determination of all our players we have fought out some very close games. With quite a few new names to the team we have at last started to find some real consistency and flow to the game. We are currently 4th in the table which is a very good result and can look forward to the 2nd part of the season with much more confidence.

Camelot 4

Div 2 Hemel League

Camelot 4's first half of the season, has been a strange one with 4 games cancelled, so the flow of consistency has not been there. But at this point we are 4th in the table and looking forward to the rest of the season with hopefully no games cancelled, to prove we deserve our place through play rather than luck.
Suzanne Reinke (Captain Camelot 4)

(The original Camelot 4 merged with Camelot 2 and Camelot 3. Camelot 5 has now become Camelot 4. )
