A Dose of Linguistics: An Ordering of Complex Ideas.

A few Observations Concerning the Role of Language Itself in reference to the Scientific Method:

Note: To some extent this brief essay deals with "that which itself might tend to make the faculty of language a resource to convey inherent meaningfulness." Now, this is, some might say, like talking about talking about making sense. So the reader should be warned to bear with the flow of ideas.

Some preliminary ideas.

• Pre-requisite concept: The Role of the Alpha-Numeric Lingistic set. and the definition of a valid system = "eusystem."
• The Archetype of Self-Otherness.
• The Principle of Hexametry in Omni-Conveyance.
• Otherness as Antithesis, Anti-podal, Other-specie and Anti-Matter.
• Memory, Cohernecy and Artificial Intelligence.
• Objectivity Errors Attributable to the Faculty of Language.

Prerequisite concepts.
The human brain functions from sensory input as well as a certain interiorized sets of actions-functions the (reflexive functions of intensionalism).
This internalized set is generally what Jung referred to when he wrote about "memories, dreams and reflections." The "psychical." Here, I wish to avoid calling this internalized aspect of the psychical "content" instead, I shall refer to it as just the intensional aspects of the or a "set or scenario." Unlike the brain, the psychical-set has no scientifically valid "insided-ness" by the definitions used here.
The brain has evolved to do this critical job and to make humans the problem solvers in biosphere (when they are not other-wise).

This sensory input is always in the form of electrical-magnetic energy.
This is a remarkable and profound generalization to comprehend and a fairly recent elucidation in all of knowledge. Even the interiorized functions are "of" this manifestation of energy. All sub-divisions of sensory experience are just variations of this form of energy,... electro-magnetic energy. Even warmth and body-heat is a form of electrical-magnetic energy.

Science proposes that energy can be "converted" from one form to another. There are therefore various manifestations of energy (the ability to do work). We can speak of the energy manifested as motion, heat, friction, and so on. In some views, energy which is defined as "electromagnetic" is quite sub-suming for all other possibilities. In fact, if there could be a way to somehow explain both gravitaion and electro-magnetism energy in one consistent theory, nothing would or could be more all inclusive as far as "explaining" the energy manifestations of the Universe.

Knowledge of our own wakefulness and consciousness is also a function of energy-accounting.
In ways we do not yet totally understand, the very basis of memory itself may prove to be varioiusly electro-magnetically and bio-electrical-molecularly defined; i.e. memory and consciousness may be molecularly dynamically determined.

A great deal of the human experience is attributable to the role of the sense of vision (also greatly electro-magnetic).
Vision is a primary source of neural input.
Primarily via the sense of vision (but not necessarily only vision), we have access to the history of the world and the ideas of thinkers from all generations with a data set compendium to share.

The data sets are here identified as Alpha-Numeric Sets,... denoted by writing "{A,N}"

The Concept of Synthetic Alpha-Numericisms.
Here, objects are synthetic if they are in any manner human-made or caused (yet generally non-biological in character).
Since a great deal of "that which is spoken" can also be made written or else variously visually appreciable,...this too, is an aspect of the compendia of alpha-numericism.
The modern citizen of the World moves and functions in a vast ecology of alpha-numericism.
Other than "that which we call Nature itself," the human condition is exceedingly neural-alpha-numerically defined.
We realize that this has not always been the case. There was a "Pre-history" typified by a total lack of alpha-numericism or a proto-form period. In a world of only a few homonids, we can imagine one creative individual etching something into the cave wall or damp sand and with this the "first" alpha-numeric representationisms were on their way. Historically, we remember the Library at Alexandria and today the fact that all of National Geographic can be accessed on CDROM while the Library of Congress is more or less "online,"...the tradition continues to "alpha-numericize" our being. It educates, informs and entertains. In certain positive ways it (the compendiae-{A,N}-mundi "directs and vectors us" to ever higher levels of evolutionary advancement.
Because the mind-brain energy event set (along with its association with a body-soma) can and does perceive alpha-numeric set resolutions in the environment and can do this routinely and in a way that is in some respects identical to the way it perceives any other energy-event object in the environment, we can dispense with a great many archaic philosophical arguments which existed prior to our comprehension of the electro-magnetic physiology of perceiving. Although we are able to elaborate many refined details of the physiological process itself,...A dog or a document, the brain takes it in, i.e. perceives the frequency modulations = energy-events.

We are required in this activity to simply be able to scan or read and interpret the input in certain learned and structured ways. Where the individual is not able to do this and is "illiterate," the alpha-numericisms are indeed just like any other visually scanned object in the environment (they are, however, generally "known" as something human-made versus "natural"). There is nothing magical in this and no great "Theory of Knowledge" is here implicated. We recognize it as electro-magnetic neural input of a category, something physiological. Yet we are aware of the technical difficulties to fully elaborate the process (i.e. to define a biophysics of consciousness whence all perceptioning is founded),...ergo Systems Biophysics.
The compendium of all recorded knowledge, and the idea-archetype "Monolith on the Moon" are,... in a manner of thinking, aspects of a conceptual omni-relevant alpha-numeric set. [see essay: Bio-Cosmographic Reality.]

A tentative taxonomy of all conceivable alpha-numeric set resolutions is:

• All textual and literary, letters, commercial or not documents and translations however recorded.
• Any and all actual and/or potentially textual manifestations which are entirely intensional and non-
  spoken or non-written or recorded and all that is spoken and variously meaningful but not recorded.
  This category defines "intensional-psychical" alpha-numericism and general conveyable-environmental
  which is not often archived or conserved. Thinking and Conversation itself are like this.
  (hence a thought can considered to be a potential alpha-numeric set idea.)
• Mathematical, Logic and CODE representations.
• Specialized syntheses: Chemistry documents, various specific science department documents
  with unique signs and symbols and certain models and paradigm structures.
• Musical and poetical-artful representaions. Again, specialized signs and symbols...human made.
• To some extent any "human-made" artistic creations, and especially those "with a message."
• Manifestations considered "human-made" but un-decipherable, gibberish-like, "doodles," markings,
  and similar "noisy" alpha-numericisms. Note the fact that a great novel may be so "interpreted"
  as of this category depending upon who is the "perceiver-interpretor."

Objects in Nature which may "mimic" alpha-numeric sets are not considered here as valid alpha-numericisms. To be valid, an alpha-numeric set must be human synthesized. Cloud formations which appear to spell out something to some interpretors, or "signs from God" and the like, of natural origin are excluded from the definition here for qualifying as elements of any and all {A,N}. Note that an air-plane pilot "sky-writing" among the clouds is indeed generating a valid alpha-numeric set.

The Alpha-Numeric Sets Account for All Scientific Perceptions and Theorizing.
The faculty of language is archived in alpha-numeric sets.
From the primitive cave wall etchings to the intensely complex dissertations in Quantum Field Theory, we realize the remarkable fact:...all of this interpretable synthesis can be defined as, per example, an "Alpha-Numeric Set Resolution!"
An apparent historical phase of alpha-numericization seems manifest in the archeological records of the papyri of mesopotamia, the Levant, and in the hieroglyphics of Egypt and those of Meso-America; we realize the incredibly wealthy Pharoahs, Kings and Emperors of History would have paid dearly and faught battles for the simple pen and paper we so take for granted.
The process we recognize as "becoming educated" is itself identified as a sequential effort to organize and deliver a traditional atlas of alpha-numericisms.
At least these resolutions account for all non-occult basic scientific education and learning which may "prompt" internalized scientific originality of perceptioning and theorizing which, to be of any use, must be alpha-numericized. This has come to generally mean "published."
Science advances upon the previous work of others, and this is always a variously archived {A,N}, an alpha-numerization.

Language Conveys the Individualistic Intensional Set and also that of the Collective.
Science, we might claim, is a very specialized domain of alpha-numericism.

Brain plus Language Partitions Universe.
Once becoming an "endowed or a generally learned more refined skill," it would seem that "Action = Object Naming," as an intellectual (intensional-domain) function, matures to become an activity of highest importance in a multitude of ways.

The informative (and not so informative) "data-sets" which humans convey under any and all circumstances from chit-chat to Mensa Seminars are here identified as "{A,N} resolutions = Alpha-numericisms."

All neural-linguistic in-put to brain (conscious and un-conscious) is, from a first-ordered consideration, a form of electro-magnetic energy,... and secondly,...a manifestation of an alpha-numeric set resolution. If not, it is simply another "visual-sensory" processing energy-event which is less "socio-culturally linguistic" by any conceivable analysis. Here, such "less in magnitude or measure" alpha-numeric resolutions are generally considered to be simple or elementary observations of non-synthetic environment ("Nature-proper" or pure "scenery input-facts"). If not alpha-numeric, Natural or mundane-scenic, we find the sensory splay may implicate perceptions of various human-made art-entertainment synthesis sets. This, to some extent, is simply an artful or "talented" extention of alpha-numericism as a semantic and meaning may still be conveyed.
Mind thrives on stimulation and "fascination." Sensory deprivation can be like a living death and restricted access to alpha-numeric sets or "censorships" can be devastating to the educated mind.

A "Theory" is an alpha-numeric set resolution. A set of solutions to a differential equation is also a category of {A,N}. The evening "weather report" is also such. These are models and "maps" or charts of phenomena being studied.

A properly devised paradigm or alpha-numericism can explain much about a phenomenon or help to measure something about it, but it cannot itself be identified as the "object" (especially eusystemic object) itself. This (fault in naming scientific energy-events) just simply defies logic and the definitions Science has carefully inherited from a long and arduous history towards exactness. Still, one will find a tendency to make alpha-numeric sets something extensional (other than the paradigms they are). This is because so much is simply beyond any direct sensorial appreciation that the ephemeral sets seem sufficient, especially if they compute something usable. If a Scientist "appreciates" the equations and the alpha-numericisms,...it is enough (or so some might think) to consider the alpha-numericisms as "the real-thing." A "bundle of vectors" fills the bill, and so some physicists are satisfied. We especially like it when our paradigms made conveyable via our alpha-numericisms contribute to the economic prosperity scenario and therefore generate "Pure and Applied Science." Research and development make us wealthier and wiser and it is a good thing. We like the Gizmos and Gadgetries (in spite of the atom-splitting phase). When the alpha-numercisms and paradigms seem more like exercises in mental onanism and a "Go To" circuitry seems to get us no where, we have to doubt and doubting is not something our best alpha-numericism is supposed to be about. It can be all too easy for one scientist to say to another simply "I do not understand your abstractions." It can and does get chaotic and crazy. There should be "anchors" in the theories and a line of logic to follow,...a patentable gizmo always appeases us.

"Music" seems to define an intermediate category of neural input (since one can actually "read" music or visualize it as such a model even while hearing it). Anyone who "reads" or watches a CRT-PC monitor is essentially "of a greater magnitude" relation with alpha-numeric set resolutions than the fellow sitting on the front porch staring at the scenery (assuming he is not in deep technical meditation perhaps). A great deal of intensional (i.e. mental and "auto-input") thinking also implicates alpha-numeric set resolutions. Most people who are aware of their own thought processes, are aware of a stream of words and language elements. More about intensional alpha-numeric compounding or "thninking" and memory is discussed elsewhere.

In Systems Biophysics we seek any and all Natural Universal Laws of Information Conveyance which may be bio-molecularly relevant to the comprehension of ourselves and the Universe. Information can be variously "abstractly" comprehended,... from Dr. Gooch's model of a differential equation "data-quantum" resolution-paradigm,... to the mating calls of the yellow-bellied bandicoot.

An Inter-eusystemically defined matrix of data pulsed and varied relays is identified as "Biosphere."

Biosphere is identified as a local evolving varied-in-components information processing energy-event boundary set. Biosphere = "Earth" is "bounded" by geologic and astrophysical elements, generally the non-biologically implicate elements. Yet we also realize a dilemma:...who is to say emphatically that the mind's contemplatiion of the farthest (non-biosphere) aspects of the Univeree are not somehow also biologically relevant? Perhaps concept "Biosphere" must include what brain can include by analysis as well as via imagination or via technical access ploys. Here, however, the term "biosphere" is less complicatedly identified as "Space-Ship Earth" proper,.. a limited shell-like domain of a single planet zooming through the Galaxy. It is the "Biophysics R Us" scenario-set.

The Archetype of Self-Otherness.
The Biosphere is local "Otherness." The Universe is non-local Omni-Otherness. All phenomena is Otherness.
"Body" is reflexive otherness identified as the Sensorium-experience of I am a Part of Universe-ness. Brain knows without concentrating:... "I am a type of auomatic data processor entity of sequenced experiences,.. I Think,...ergo I Exist. Mind, brain and Science (= the omni-processor of optimized alpha-numericisms) functions to comprehend local and non-local somatic and non-somatic Otherness structures.

Language
With the current view of up-right postured hominid origins traced back to more than six-million years into history, we realize that every living global citizen has a personal ancestry census of many hundreds of thousands of gene sharing predecessors. The ability to enunciate, vocalize and pronounce all typical alphabets ever known to history was probably also a shared ability with all these thinking energy-events called ancestors.
Apparently, at some point in human evolution, ancestor-individuals first began to asign names to themselves and objects (pseudo-systems, quasi-systems and eusystems). Not much can be known about this precisely; even the "invention" of the dictionary is recent compared to the time-line. One might suppose, however, that individual (person) naming probably preceeded the more general name-identifications of family-member types: "father, mother, son, cousin,...etc." Concept-name "Mother-In-Lawn" and "ex-wife" may have had a particularly emmotive-rational force in this theory! Non-person or general object naming probably co-existed with the humano-centric and anthropomorphic nominatives and their genesis. The proto "abstractions" were the named spirits, the deities, ghosts, angels and demons and also the "objects" of immediate survival value,... food and tool objects. Adjective word use and qualifying or descriptive-associations such as "hot," color = "green," and "Painful," ...etc., no doubt also must have had a psychical-linguistic ontogeny and evolution. Indeed, the standard syntax, grammar and word-sets of any surviving language or any tongue used by a large enough group and certainly any language which is conserved in any manner what so ever via an alpha-numericism cannot be considered in any way a "totally" spontaneous occurrence. Languages are not accidental, they are discovered and invented facts of having brains attached to bodies in ecosystems. A spoken language often is associated with a long a difficult archaeo-history for a people to simply "survive."
Many of these "imagined scenarios" about the daily lives of our distant ancestors are now popular reading material. "The Clan of the Cave Bear," by Jean M. Auel is one good example and is enjoyable (not ug) well researched story-telling for the time-traveler in all of us.

In this activity of naming things experienced or "sensed," the evolving mind learns to comprehend non-self eusystemically determind Universe. We civilized citizens of the world take all this action as rather obvious and trivial;... but it is not so. Memory is used and awareness of memory results. It is neuro-biophysically very complex and complictaed by issues of psycho-pathology and socio-cultural issues.

As "ontogeny recapitualtes phylogeny" in regards to the soma = body;... so too, is there a recapitulation of our neuro-linguistic ontogenic set, ...the "engramatical genesis" of data processing functions. And in relation-association to this there exists the individual's maturing intensionalism and an internalised psychical ecology indentified as "mind-intellect." A mature well adjusted world citizen results with a more or less appropriate "World-View." This should be something that "helps" the Collective and the species human.

There can be pathology. There are "sick minds," psycho-sociopaths and terrorist-barbarians. Much can and does go wrong, hence, this ontogeny is not all so elementary as some might suppose. The quasi-science of Psychology-Psychoanalysis is humanity's second-ordered effort to explore these ideas in any detail. A first-ordered scenario, might be identified as the ecclesiastically complexed and theocratic efforts of the "Great Counselor, Wise-men, and the Great White Hope Archetype."

There appears to be no general consensus as to what is or should constitute the optimized collective healthy intensionalism. This alone might be reason enough to conserve any and all proper and careful "eusystemizationalism." No one would choose to have to re-live the Dark Ages if History should have to repeat itself through some fault of a laxed scientific assessment process that labels abstractions as simply "real-enough" or worse,...real-enough until the next round of grant-funding. The American Psychiatric Association is doing well to have a somewhat researched and formulated list of "mental syndromes" and information about the diagnosis and definition of the intensionally "compromised." This "list' we note has not been all so easily obtained. Knowledge about the "mind" (healthy or sick) will, I believe, tend to properly accrue as knowledge of the brain itself prospers...the alpha-numericisms of a molecularly dynamic neuro-physiology.

Brain processes electro-magnetic sensory input while mind-memory processes the intensional combinagoric identified as "thought-thinking." Engram and Ideation had an origin relative with respect to a en-speciational ontogeny. And with this gamut of changes,...that which is "psychical" can permutate memory (Jung's Collective Unconsciousness)...identified as the human-animal's luxury of "thinking,"... an energy-event not greatly shared with certain other species. Self recognizes "initial conditions, previous-conditions, good-better-best conditions,"...and memory therefore contributes to or generates "values" as mind-brain evolved relative with respect to cranial capacity, personal and familial successes, and failures-set backs. The first-ordered sensorium of values generate an eventual socio-economics and culture. The "thinking group" grows in size. They learn to shuffle the alpha-numericisms of their times. Eventually, it becomes an easy matter it seems for almost anyone (un-censored) to more or less access the compendia of the a planet's available alpha-numericism resources. On the verge of becoming an awesome ten-billion throng from a scant few with a "Pre-History" to imagine,...we value and like the free exchange of information-knowledge. With it we can become actualized. Still, proverty and prejudices prevents a free flow of thinking progress;...sadly, a Ramanujan or another Dirac or Goethe may exist held hostage to poverty and oppression somewhere.

The Self-Otherness Principle Evolves to Alternative Levels With Language Development.

The Principle of Hexametry in Omni-Conveyance.
Linguistically, and relative with respect to the Intensional Domain (all that is psychical and "mental-intellectual"), an apparent archetypal "hexametry" becomes evident reflecting a fundamental appreciation of The Axiom = "The Universe Implicates Structure." Namely, the syntactical and grammatical "personalizations" become important and necessary tools in human individuation and development, growth and ontogeny.

In virtually all Earth languages studied, there is at least the syntactical grammatical (indicative) person "divisions" of reflective otherness defined as the verb conjugation systems-sets. For an example in the English-Germanic, Slavic and Romance languages (Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and others):

... hence a conceptual "hexametry"...or a "six-ness." This idea might be also called

The Hexametry Postulate or Principle of the Systems Bio-Physics Set.

Via Language Structure We Comprehend An Antithesis of all that is Psychical-Intensional.
The way minds comprehend and relate to the Universe obviously varies from culture to culture;... is there any semblance of a physiological extreme?
Just as the Western Civilisations have their earliest recorded documents which were essential to the rise and ontogeny of the Scientific Method in Post-medieval Europe (and generally in relation to the "Age of Reason" associated with Rene Descarte and others which formed the foundations for Newtonianism);... so too do we find a well documented proto-scientific tradition in the Orient.

In China there was the work of the ancient Taoists, Confucianists, Buddhists and others. Of particular interests are the Taoists (often called the First Scientists in China) with their obsession to define, if not master-control-harness, "Natural Order" in the pradigmation ploy of the "Tao Te-Ching" (or "I Ching") ancient divination texts.

Here and elswhere, we explore the potential fact that
The I-Ching "Oracle-document" deploys the modeling tool of the "Hexagrams."
These constructs have astrological and other "natural and psychological" connections somewhat analogous to the Zodiacal "Signs" in western occult thought tradition. The fact that the Hexagramatic "units" of the chinese historical document are emphatically "statisitically" hexa- graphic (but with various permutations and combinatioins as a western horoscope can also have a more complex accounting in signs and "houses") may indeed reflect the taoist scholar's appreciation of the "Hexametric Principle" in linguistical-psychoanalytic and philosophic "Self-Otherness" mentioned here as a fundamental fact of the syntax and grammar of many spoken and lost languages. There can be no clear proof of this at least until some archaeological record might provide such, but i think it is an intriguing idea. It (the idea to convey here) sort of says ...the west historically optimized a zodical (and therefore astro-constellationally anchored) "Twelveness," all the while the chinese worked with an inherent "Six-ness Principle," ...yet where did they come up with this "heavily weighted" reference to Natural Six-ness? Both world-views had the super-stitiouness factor and both views contributed to the foundations of a valid science. In some views, with Einstein's Relativity, the West has only recently cought up with the "Action-at-a-Distance" relativistic oriental (Taoistic) orientation;...And the East is obligatley slowly becoming Post-Newtonian "cause-and-effectual." The "strange world" of Quantum Dynamics it seems offers a happy medium!

Is the information conveyance ploy of Hexametry inherently biophysically,...i.e. bio-molecularly and genetically defined? Elsewhere in the work Systems Biophysics, the notion of the "universality" of a biophysically defined Hexametry Principle is explored in greater detail.

It is entirely possible that for any conceivable instance of the faculty of language to arise and evolve (as all languages do) relative to the innate vocal components of soma (= body),... i.e., the vocal anatomy plus brain set, ...that this Hexametry Principle might be manifest in some manner. The hexametry of somato-linguistic semantics and syntax must have existed prior to the most primitive methods to archive human memories (identified more or less with invented writing).

Otherness as Antithesis, Anti-podal, Other-specie and Anti-Matter
Non-human Brains Also "Divide the World."
With even the most intelligent of mammals I know of no instance where such a refined appreciation of Self-Otherness exists in even the most tenuous of resolutions lacking word-syntax but deploying some alternative "relay-conveyance methodology (i.e., sounds and gestures)."...Although one could argue that there is a semblance of the archetypal and truculent "Us-Them" motif operant in many tribal and social animals. Author Barbara Ehrenreich explores this "genetics of violence idea" with an anthropological and psychoanalytic theme in her book: "Blood Rites: Origins and History of the Passions of War." by Barbara Ehrenreich ISBN: 0805057870

Penny's Koko, a Gorilla at the Gorilla Foundation, does very well with a non-verbal "quasi-hexametry" themata, but this has required a major human directed teaching effort. Primate scientists who have studied great ape social groups may reveal more about this aspect of non-human "primatological hexametric proto-liguistification" scenario.

In regards to the Koko Project, the idea "Me Good/Bad Gorilla" seems to have a weighted significance among the behavioral awards/punishments strategies;...yet there is a definite appreciation of "The Otherness" motif with Koko... (specifically, in regards to the Ape's beloved kitten-pet named by Koko herself "Ball."). Some non-human energy-event bioforms do indeed deploy a quasi-syntax in information conveyance. It remains to be determined how "hexanometric" this may be in certain species. We seek any and all Natural Universal Laws of Information Conveyance.

On certain ways, object naming and identifying moment by moment during wakeful awareness is identified as memory itself. Observe the pathological conditions like Alzheimer's Syndrome in which the brain cannot resolve even a broader category descriptive-name for an object like "green-plant" versus "Rose." Object naming, indexing and ordering seems to serve as a sort of "land-marking" strategy for the very neural processes themselves. As this process becomes "extentionalised" beyond the mere personal aspects of language usage, ... we identify it as the essence and em-bodiment of Scientific Thinking and Reasoning itself.

Memory, Coherency and Artificial Intelligence
Apparently, at some point in human evolution, ancestor individuals first began to asign names to themselves and objects (systems and eusystems). As the physiology of "fear" could in any way be consoled and appeased by linguistic action to explain the unknown or direct and govern to safety, a linguistical semantics evolved. This is identified as a way to convey alpha-numeric sets which essentially served to have "survival value." An elementary example might be the linguistic "set" which could pass on to the progeny all the where, when and how-factors required to feed the group or protect and conserve it in any way. Language, like the form of the body itself, has evolved over millions of years.

As far as language and alpha-numeric sets can be concerned,...not much can be known about this precisely; even the "invention" of the dictionary is not very ancient. We can only "speculate" and imagine about the lives of the clans and tribes that were our many thousands of ancestors before any formalized writing systemology ever was established relative with respect to any given "civilization." Linguistic elements etched into stone are the most historical-trans-historical of any "fossilization of language," and virtually all of this must have been fairly recent in comparison to the eons of un-written history whence basic "sonality" issues were settled. One might suppose, however, that individual (person) naming probably preceeded the more general name-identifications of family-member types: "father, mother, son, cousin,...etc.

Anyone who has a modicum of personal computing experience and has had to work with files, folders and directories while maintaining some semblance of order in this process soon learns much about object-naming and its value and complexity for information utilization, accessing and sharing! Most would agree that "bio-organic neural-memory" is itself, more or less, modelled by all this computer-i-zationism.

Indeed, we cannot under-estimate the role of object-naming, identifying, ranking, and order-indexing with neuro-linguistic functions in the Natural Philosophy of a Eusystems Science of the Biophysics of Consciousness.

The Action identified as comprehending object-naming-ordering unified with the action called memory optimization as well as the use of "statistical expectations functions-resolutions"... (i.e., ‘what object-set should be expected next in a given sequence for processing of data??) is identified,... more or less, with the electrical-engineering + mechanical endeavor-challenge called "Artificial Intelligence."
Try to read the "primitive English" of Beowolf and you will appreciate the mutability of language in time. The personal computer and Internet-web may contribute to a slower mutability in certain ways, it may also contribute to remarkable new linguistic structures being more broadly used, icon-recognition for rapid scanning, for example. New ways to present and archive the alpha-numericisms are with us. More about artificial intelligence systems and memory will be presented later.

Evolving brain first had to make "coherent" the human "otherness" of familial, group and social interaction. The Hexametry Principle discussed here evolved in the milieu of necessary thought and action to become human. We know now that millions of years and many hundreds of thousands of ancestors were involved per brain existing today.

Next, via the efforts to make less superstitious and fearful,the objective mind-brain turned its attention and functions to work on the world of phenomena. This too, required many thousands of generations of "brains getting the proper perspective." With Science, we hope to be less demon-haunted and fearful of our own archetypal "Shadow."

From the infant's first sensorium of faces "above" and smiles the enrgey-events ...for an "I-me-myself" abstractioning,... the toddler's Self-Otherness eusystemizational neuro-physiology matures and complexes. The World of Things becomes omni-potent. The Alpha-Numerical Economics of the individual's neuro-ecosystemic reciprocity (which includes society as well as biosphere) has an ontogeny and a phylogeny like the body itself. Science seems to define a sort of re-capitulation of this evolution manifested per individual. Language and symbol utiliztion skills refine the Self-Otherness motif of the maturation to define various levels of alpha-numeric efficiency variations. Some Space-Ship Earth passengers are hardly beyond the "participation mystique" level of Parable Lessons = "preferred alpha-numeric set" tools. Others can appreciate more analytical and "patentable" for prosperity detail perhaps. there is Social Relativity and social boundaries. For what is recognized as the "less skill-ful or adept" in {A,N} set conveyance functions is identified as the "less-intelligent," the knowledgeable mind recognizes the relativity of mind-brain evolving. Everthing has to "be" somewhere, and no two minds can exist in the same opening to Universe ...the relativity of the World-view is real. Science only seeks to make it valid and generic for the masses.

As a physiological function of the brain and as an "analogue" function of the machine-computer memory is identified as none other than "archived" alpha-numeric set resolutions or,... much more mysteriously and technically perhaps, archived-encoded sensory impressions. The later aspect may be implicated in such phenomena as amnesia and deja-vu, and certain savant memory skills.

Systems Biophysics postulates a "unit" of neuro-linguistically relevant "exchange." This unit is termed the biophysical engram. In a certain manner of speaking the engram is biophysic's analogue of what physics makes a "particle." Systems Biophysics explores the concept of a "unit" of biophysical accounting in great detail.

The Hexametric Self-Otherness Principle expressed in Language is Critical to the Conservation of Semantic Coherency.

As Science, particularly Computer Science, attempts to optimize the human-machine experience, it behooves us to contemplate both the intricacies of all existing languages as well as the ideas about how a language or all languages might have arisen and evolved to the present. The use of language is a primary human awareness of the "information conveyance" scenario-event. Although computer science defines the "byte" as a unit of information relay, languages seem to have no clear cut unit-notion except for such terms as "thought, idea, fact...etc." Systems Biophysics explores the concept of a universal biophysically relevant unit of neuro-linguistical exchange. This, it is believed, should have an "onto-phylogenetic" basis; i.e. a biophysical archaeo-genesis. Just as there is a long history of conceptual information exchange between cells, so too might certain facts about information exchange at higher levels be "reflective" of this ancient past in regards to biomolecular patterning. This unit of biodata exchange has been termed "Engram." The Engram. We are far from any well define Science of the Engram. We might suppose that somehow organic memory and something analogous to hexametry or (at least) something mathematically physical and quantifiable in relation to the ephemeral nature of thinking is involved. It may help to think of the biophysical engram as the parallel biophysical model of the physical (electrical-mechanical) "byte." In other ways it may help to consider it more like a "calorie" of thermodynamics. Yet these ideas are very disparate in certain other critical ways. It is simply too soon to say what the "engram" is or can be. Maybe it will help to make us all more intelligent and less (adversely) forgetful! More about this in the works and essays.

Loss of semantic coherencey is identified as "loss of meaning" in information conveyance. As such, any "artificial intelligence" device which cannot optimize fundamental and more complex hexametric "self-otherness" criteria is doomed to failure. As stated previously, humans which, for various reasons, cannot "hexametricize" their mentation sharing functions are also in trouble. (The psychotic has a sick Self-otherness).
Languages have rules.
With healthy and normal communication involving inter-linguistic exchange (translations), diplomatic care is required in regards to the personlaizations, gender asignments and similar syntactical arguments all related to the role of the ideo-linguistic hexametry of the given languge and culture-context.

Without some semblance of the Hexametric Principle in linguistical conveyances one might postulate only consistent socio-economic confusion (social entropy). Linguists find primitive languages which lack a well defined person-syntax exceedingly gibberish-like and difficult to decipher. A great deal of "Code-Science" is apparently related to the Hexametric Priciple and its manifestation(s).

Objectivity Errors Attrributable to Language.
Science attempts to synthesize the optimum enduring omni-valid alpha-numeric sets. This is called contributiong to the current "Scientific Paradigm." The process is not yet perfected.

Role of Anthropomorphisms.
The words "Anthropomorphism or Anthropomorphic" are clumsey to use and say, I prefer to say "humano-centric." The meaning of this is not difficult. If one is being humano-centric in Science, it means human-like traits or qualities are being attributed to objects (eusystems again) of analysis-study which are not human-like and should not be associuated in this way. It is extrmely common. It is a fault of thinking and of language usage more than anything. Sometimes a may not be all so harmless, it may lead the entire thought process toward the wrong directions. No one knows to what extent this may actually cause problems in a theory somewhere down the road. But I think it should be diligently guarded against in Science. It requires that we be carfeul with our use of scientific language when we are trying to "do Science." To some extent the "optimization of the Scientific Method" itself is identified as the elucidation of the theoretic which is in all ways the least contaminated by humanocentric ideatiion. This is especially true of a Biophysics, and even more so since it is likely that an omni-valid Biophysics may p[rove to sub-sume concept "Physics."

An elementary example might help to elucudate the scenario. Often a physicist will "humanize" the qualities of sub-atomic partilce interactions as a model-metaphore. A common example these days is the "dance-floor" scenario of Boson interactions. Or in certain instances, a Quantum Theorists will say that "such and such" a situation is "more quantum" than another situation (Big quantum-ness versus Little Quantum-ness?). Now this is rather heuristic and harmless perhaps. The author has made the metaphor emphatic and obvious, so no big deal. Yet these strategies do affect the mind of the learning student and may do so in ways that are not all so harmless. As another example, a botasnist might make the remark that such and such a plant "likes" lots of sun-light. Now plants, we realize, do not actually form likes and dislikes as do humans; this is a humano-centric projection upon the botanical world. "Certain plants," we might better choose our words to say, "have certain ranges of solarization under which they optimize their metabolic processes." Now all this may seem a bit pedantic, the example is trivial and may not amount to much. However, there are instances in Science where it is, I think, a serious flaw and a trouble-causing perspective.

The language of Science should optimize anti-humanocentric ideation and strive to eusystemize the object(s) of analysis. To be on guard against humanocentric ideation is to deploy the archytypal Hexametric Principle with an optimized "it-ness" which is omni "Otherness not = human " and not to be now or later confused with human-ness. Extropy is the antithesis of Entropy. Writers in Science should be extropic. Language and a Civilization's alpha-numericisms are the instruments of Extropy. Logic and Order can come out of the chaos and confusion.

In certain ways difficult to elucidate here entirely with respect to the sum-total of human neuro-sensory functioning, the alpha-numeric set genesis "action" of an objective Science (actually The Objective Science!) might itself be demonstrated somehow as something which deploys the Principle of Hexametry in a manner that can only best be described as a use of the concept: Dimension. This need not mean "six-dimensions" exactly. In todays Science, concept "Dimension" seems to be as varied as the imagination itself. I have tried to express the concept in ways I hope will be enlightening and productive in some fundamental ways. The Hexametric Principle seems Linguistically Universal, we just do not know much about any genetics of this.

Physics, as we have learned, works to "optimize" comprehension of "Otherness."
Biophysics obligately has to implicate human-ness, consciousness, and other facts of the reciprocity between environment and brain. As Physicists would, it seems, quite often, want "Self-ness" left out of the scenario entirely with all their gizmos and gadgets of light and steel, ...there is still persists the problem of the "Observer." The Ways of the Vehicle-Soma are implicated in the inherent circuuitry of all scientific action and resolution. There is no "Homunculus" in the intensional landscape;...however, there is something. Something we can someday measure,...a relativistic substantive set.

Set collectives of "it-ness" define non-self and non-human componential part-wise world-Universe reference. "It-ness plural" is identified as They-ness and Them-ness,...not absolutely non-human objectivity assessments. The Universe is "made" of the itness-otherness inventory,..."concept-reality." Elucidation of the micro-fine aspects of the chemical elements and the irreducible "particles" which compose "them" (non-humanocentric) refines alpha-numeric "it-ness" inventory to N-th level.

Science Is Identified as a Charting and Atlas Synthesis Endeavor of Alpha-Numeric Set Resolutions and Compounding.

The Ultima-Thule Atlas Maximum is identified as "The Standard Model" itself. We want this to be optimally non-humanocentrically complicated and as enduringly omni-valid as possible. This is what it means and should mean to be "scientific."

Relative with respect to the ocean of alpha-numeric set inventories and categoreis as "resource,"...the opportunity arises or becomes extinct for the new human to value or not to value the generalized idea-concept:
"One-Humanity, One-Specie = Man-kind, One-World...one "Global Family,"...and even "One-Bio-Sphere = Space Ship Earth!" And in accepting this "World-View Orientaion relative to Self," or rejecting it or never experiencing the options for some reason or another, the entire process of the "Self-Otherness" criteria become ingrained in the personality of the mature adult.

Some people it seems are either genetically or culturo-socially conditioned isolationists;... the "Us-Them" motif rules their lives.

In any and all cases and "World-views," consciouness, it seems... "is a chemical change,...like a laser beam." And this includes Scientific Consciousness.
