Basket of Flowers Fridgie
Materials: Size 10 crochet Cotton Thread Varigated, magnet, glue gun, few
1/2"silk flowers & Leaves.
Finished size apx. 3 inches tall.
Rnd 1: With shaded thread, ch 16, dc in third ch from hook, dc in each ch
across to last ch, 4 dc in last ch; working in remaining lps on opposite side
of ch, dc in each ch across with 2 dc in last ch, join with sl st in top of
ch 2. (32 dc made)
Note: Work in spaces between sts unless otherwise stated.
Rnd 2-6: Sl st in first sp, ch 4, tr in each sp around, join with sl t in
top of ch 4.
ch 3" then sl st to opposite side of basket, ch 1 turn and sc across handle
closely to back at beginning of rnd 7: Work along top of basket. *sc in
next st, ch 5, sc in next 2 sts, ch 5 repeat from * around Rnd 8: * ch 6 sc
in ch 5 sp * around. Fasten off and tuck in ends.
Decorate with flowers and glue magnent on back.

Rose Fridgie
MATERIALS: Brunswick Fore 'n Aft Sport weight acrylic yarn; 1 two ounce
skein. Aluminum Crochet Hook size #1 or B. FIorist wire and tape.
Row 1: Ch 4, 7 dc in 4th st from hook.
Row 2: Ch 3, turn, 1 dc in 1st dc, 2 dc in next 8 sts across, (13 dc and 1 ch).
Row 3: Ch 3, turn, 1 dc in 1st dc, *1 dc in each of next 2 sts, 2 dc In next st. Repeat from *·across row, (17 dc and 1 ch).
Row 4: Ch 3, turn, 1 dc in 1st st, *1 dc in each of next 3 sts, 2 dc in next st.
Repeat from * across row, (21 dc and 1 ch).
Row 5: Ch 3, turn, 2 dc in 1st st, 1 dc in
each of the next 19 sts, 3 dc In top of ch 3, (24 dc and 1.ch).
Row 6: Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in each of next 3 sts. 1 hdc In next st, 1 dc in next st, 1 tr In each of next 7 sts, ch 3, sI st in next st, ch 3, 1 tr in same st as sl st, 1tr in each of next 6 sts, 1 dc in next st, 1 hdc in next st, 1 sc in each of
the next 3 sts. Fasten off with slip stitch.
This completes one petal. Make 8 petals. Sew petals together by joining at small end. Fold florist wire In half and place down through center of flower and cover with florist tape. You may also attach artificial leaves.

Size G crochet hook
Small amount Orange and Brown 4-ply yarn
A plastic ring cut off of a 6-pack pop holder
An orange pipecleaner
Small piece of magnet
Wings:
Row 1: With orange, work 42 sc in pop ring, join.
Row 2: ch 1, 2 sc in each st around, join. End off.
Row 3: Attach brown with sl st, ch 1, * sc in next st, ch 3, skip next st * repeat around.
Finish off.
Assembly:
Cut 2 inches off pipecleaner. Pinch together centers of wings. Wrap the rest of the
pipecleaner around center to form the butterfly's body and divide the wings. Run the 2
inch piece through top of body, twist and curl into antennae. Glue magnet to the center
back.
