A former great hall now converted into a tavern, inn, kajira and bondmaid training center and medical clinic, is the Crooked Tarn. This is now a tavern residing in the region of Torvaldsland. Once arriving at the Crooked Tarn, one must cross the bridge over the moat to a single door which provides entrance. Slave rings around the outside yard provide a Master with a place to leave his unruly kajira, bondmaids or kajiru, the rings are also used to secure those without sufficient funds to pay their bills. There is a single door, which provides entrance to the building proper.

Inside the tavern one sees a room that resembles the Great Halls so typical of the Northern land of Torvaldsland. A long table sets central in the room with several smaller tables scattered around. A sand pit is located at one end of the room for deciding disputes or dealing with unruly slaves. A discipline pole is placed in the center of the pit, for obvious purposes. The sand is smoothed daily by the soft hands of the kajira there. Tharlarion lamps are hung on the walls and ceiling to add light to the room. Fireplaces grace each wall for patrons warmth, within the tavern. Kajirae furs are placed near each fireplace for the kajira to wait before serving a Master. Three door are located within the tavern, one to the baths, one to the alcoves and one to the clinic of Saria Saritka for those that with injuries that need attention.

In back of the tavern is the training facility run by the Lady Valaharia. She has worked hard to provide a place where girls can learn the proper way to serve a Master. The girls she has trained provide the paga service within the tavern.

Come inside, rest and enjoy the entertainment of the Crooked Tarn Tavern. Four large guards, men of Torvaldsland, similar to Rollo in size strength and veracity stand watch holding their battle axes at the door exiting the tavern to enforce the following: (This tavern follows the rules of Torvaldsland. Random event storylines are for mun consent and will not be acknowledged otherwise even if players in the room are acknowledged.)
