About This Place...

Hi! I built this place so you could have a little fun looking at antique 3-D stuff: stereoscopic viewers, views, and other related items. 20th Century 3-D went online November 22, 1996.
Getting around this site is easy. Every major section has a View-Master image at the top and bottom of the page; clicking it will always take you to the front page. Underneath the View-Master are images you can use to go directly to the major sections. Each section has red and green arrows, allowing you to easily navigate up and down through the section.
View this site with your browser full screen, use a display size of 800 x 600 pixels or better, and set your video driver for at least a 16 bit palette (65,535 colors).
Nearly every image was created using a Snappy and a Sony color camera. Each image is then significantly reduced for this site. I keep graphics small to bring you as many pictures as possible and to speed your access.

About Me...

My name is Don Adamson. I have a small collection of stereoscopic viewers, views, and related items. I am especially interested in viewers from the 1930s to the 1950s. I don't have many views; I usually limit my collecting to those that are rare, unusual, or zany. If you'd like to contact me, please use this mail link.
I'm also interested in a few other things...
