These are the most frequently asked questions emailed me. Hence the term FAQ.

How do I put a counter on my page?
The best way is to find out if your service provider (the people who give you web space) offer a counter for your web page. If they do you can follow their instructions. If they don't you can use a "third party" access counter. To find information on access counters go to my main page and under the Yahoo WWW resources there is a link to access counters where you will find more information.

How can I use these images?
You can use these images for your personal or non-profit web pages. These images are not for resale.  These aren't my images, I just collected them over time.  If you see an image here that you created and want me to remove it just ask and it will be done.

How do I download just one cool image?
To download one individual image you can do the following depending on platform: Netscape and Internet Explorer - right mouse click on the image and choose save as ,or left mouse click on the image and choose "save as" from the file menu bar. Macintosh - drag the image to the desktop, or mouse click on the image and don't release the mouse button a menu will appear and you can choose save as, or click the image and choose "save as" from the file menu.

Why aren't the images on your homepage in your archive?
Some of the images on my main page are from a CD called Web Explosion.  I will not give you any of these images....sorry.

Do I have to give you credit for using the images from your page?
NO!! I would appreciate it of course but what I have collected freely I give away freely. Use them and you don't have to tell anyone you've even heard of me. However, if you want to give me some sort of credit you can link to an Image O Rama icon from this site by inserting the following code:

<A HREF=http://members.aol.com/dcreelma/imagesite/image.htm> <IMG SRC="http://members.aol.com/dcreelma/imagesite/ioramaicon.gif"></A>

It will look like this

Or you can use a text link by copying the following code

<A HREF=http://members.aol.com/dcreelma/imagesite/image.htm>IMAGE-O-RAMA</A>

How do you make those animated gifs?
I didn't make them. I obtained them elsewhere. However there are ways of making them for yourself. If you go to my main page you will find a link to Yahoo WWW resources.....this includes a section on animated gifs where you will find other repositories and information on creating them.

How do you get sound to come up automatically when I load a page?
Just put the following code in your page <EMBED SRC="music file.wav" HIDDEN="True">. This will start the sound automatically. This will at least work for Netscape and Internet Explorer.

Where did you get all these images?
I have painstakingly searched the entire internet for the best images that can be found. Actually that isn't true....believe it or not. I have downloaded many of these from smaller image archives and individuals pages from various corners of the world wide web.

Did you make any of these images?
No. At this time none of these images are made by me. I will add my images to this archive in the near future.

What's the history of this archive?
I originally began my archive in early 1995 under the name HTML O Rama. It was on my university web server and was accessed more than the school homepage and they hated my guts. I then moved to GNN and finally moved to AOL; just because the services were so cheap. If I was on a "real" web hosting service I would have the perks of cgi-bin access but the amount of downloads per month would break me.

Who are you...like you guys really care?
I just graduated from school with an M.S. in Analytical Chemistry. Soon I will be getting a job as a forensic chemist with a federal law enforcement organization. Meanwhile I write web pages for a local company that builds restaurants of all things. I live in the greatest place to live in the world, Southeast Florida just north of Fort Lauderdale. If your wondering what the weather is like here now you can break it down into two seasons: from October to May it is around 80 degrees, sunny and a clear blue sky with a nice breeze. June through September, it is 95 degrees, 90 percent humidity and either hot has Hades outside or raining.
