| The Champlain Valley Quilters' Guild of Vermont meets at 7 PM on the first Tuesday of each month, September through June, at the Essex Alliance Church on Old Stage Road, Essex Junction, Vermont. | Our January meeting has been moved to Jan. 8th (the second Tuesday of the month) due to New Year's Day. Our speaker will be Pam Druhen, from Northfield, Vermont. Her presentation is "Threadscapes, the First Decade." With nature as an inspiration, Pam has been creating art quilts that interpret of the art around us. She was featured in the presentation of Contemporary Vermont Quilters at the Shelburne Museum this year. To see her work, visit her website at www.pameladruhenthreadscapes.com. On Wednesday, Jan. 9th from 10 to 4 she will present the workshop, "Not Your Grandmother's Flower Garden." The cost is $25 and you can register by calling Angela Miller @878-9930 and Nicole Laurencelle @860-1497. Payment is needed to hold your spot in the class. |
