1.Rachel Koren said that she was going to stay home and do some work around the house.  Shimon,55,her husband; Ron,18 and Gal,15,her sons decided to go out to the "Matza'' restaurant on Sunday.  Shimon phoned Rachel to ask if she wanted anything ''to go?''  Shimon got up from his seat in the restaurant to pay the bill as the terrorist entered
the restaurant.  Shimon's body along with the bodies of his two sons blew in all directions.  Shimon was a 2nd generation Holocaust product.  His father's family was killed in Aushwitz.  Ron had just gotten his driver's license on Erev Pesach.  He was supposed to report to the IDF next month.  Rachel fainted at the triple Chol Hamoed
(intermediate days of Passover) funeral and is now in the hospital.  A brother of Shimon is trying to say triple kaddish (mourner's prayer) before the family even begins its shiva of 7 days on Wednesday night,at the conclusion of Passover.

2.  Adi Shiran,21,went with her father, Shimon and mother, Hili to the "Matza'' restaurant in Haifa.  They wanted Middle Eastern food.  Adi's older brother was fighting the PLO in Ramallah and could not 'join' them for lunch.  Another brother, Ayal, was working nearby in Haifa.  Adi died of her wounds last night, while her parents Shimon and Hili are attached to a tubes and breathing equipment in Rambam hospital.  Only the brothers remain to bury Adi today, erev Chag.  Adi's older brother is trying to get a few hours leave from the IDF from his tank surrounding Arafat to get to Adi's funeral.  The army has just flown him out of Ramallah to Haifa for the burial.

3.  Tomer Mordechai,19,celebrated his first year as a border policeman yesterday.  Last week before Passover, his unit was moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in anticipation of the crowds going to Birkat Kohanim at the Kotel (Blessing of the Priests ceremony at the Wall) on Sunday.  He came from a well established family in Ramat Aviv.  Last night, he
suspected something at Neviim and Shiftei Yisrael Streets.  The brand new Mercedes looked too good for a night time drive.  He stopped the car and asked for ID.  His answer was a suicide bomber/driver who blew himself up and took Tomer with him.  The terrorist went to hell while Tomer is with G-d, as a hero whose actions saved Jerusalem from another terrorist bombing.

4.  Ofer Roth,22,received his call up notice to the reserves at his family's seder table.  He left after the afikoman to rush to his unit.  He was told to report to the base near Bethlehem where he was stationed near Har Homa.  He had a few hours of leave on Sunday, but reported back to his base on Monday. Six hours after he had reported back to his outpost, he was killed.  Ofer will be buried before candle lighting tonight.
