1.
Always have in mind that you are standing before Hashem.
2.
Focus on and try to learn a different Tefillah each week.
3.
Always bear in mind that by us davening, we are building a relationship with
Hashem.
a.
Hashem created other human beings because He knew it would be hard to relate
to Him, so we learn to relate by building relationships with people (i.e.
parents)
4.
Focus on your requests and realize that only Hashem can provide us with what
we need.
a.
Think of a thief, who before robbing a multi-million dollar company, asked
Hashem to help, because he knew that only Hashem can help him.
5.
THERE IS NEVER A TIME WHEN YOU CANNOT TURN TO HASHEM FOR HELP!
a.
Even if you ask Hashem for something and don't get it right away, don't be
discouraged- Hashem is only doing what's best for us.
6.
Always daven to Hashem in times of need, even if it's not a set prayer.
7.
Every time we have a pain, it is because Hashem wants us to call out to Him.
8.
When you take three steps back, stop and think, "When I take these three
steps forward, I am entering a world with only me and Hashem."
Concentrate!
9.
Understand what you are talking about in the davening.
10.
You can insert notes into your Siddur to help keep you in line and to help
with your Kavannah.
11.
Close your eyes and imagine yourself at Har Sinai. Feel the awe.
12.
Know that Hashem reads all of your thoughts.
13.
Times of inspiration are a gift from Hashem, and when they are not there, we
have to try harder to work on ourselves and bring ourselves back to that
feeling. Although one doesn't always succeed, one should keep on trying.
14.
Avodah Shebalev- However much you put into your davening is how much you get
out of it. The way that you daven shows how much you really want it, because
it's what's in a person's heart.
HATZLACHA
RABAH! DAVEN WELL!
