Struggles

Struggles

God's cake

Sometimes we wonder, "What did I do to deserve this?" or "Why did God have to do this to me?" Here is a wonderful  explanation!

A daughter is telling her Mother how everything is going wrong, she's failing algebra, her boyfriend broke up with her and her best friend is moving away.

Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and asks her daughter if she would like a snack, and the daughter says, "Absolutely Mom, I love your cake."

"Here, have some cooking oil," her Mother offers.

"Yuck" says her daughter.

"How about a couple raw eggs?"

"Gross, Mom!"

"Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking  soda?"

"Mom, those are all yucky!"

To which the mother replies: "Yes, all those things seem bad all by themselves. But when they are put together in the right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake!

God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He would let us go through such bad and difficult times. But God knows that when He puts these things
all in His order, they always work for good! We just have to trust Him and, eventually, they will all make something wonderful!

God is crazy about you. He sends you flowers  every spring and a sunrise every morning. Whenever you  want to talk, He'll listen. He can live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart.

If you like this, send this on to the people you really care about. I did.

I hope your day is a " piece of cake !"

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance!

Falling... falling..... falling.......
into a deep hole...
filled with blackness...
and sorrow...
everything seems hopeless...
without any resolve...
the littlest things hurt...
and the biggest things numb...
somehow nothing matters...
and nothing will help...
but you try...
you give me a hand...
but i wouldn't grasp it...
you give me a rope...
but i wouldn't tie it...
you give me a parachute...
but i won't open it...
when it seemed you had nothing left...
you gave me your love...
and that stopped my fall

If at times you feel you want to cry
And life seems such a trial
Above the clouds theres a bright blue sky
So make your tears a smile.

As you travel on lifes way
With its many ups and downs
Remember its quite true to say
One smile is worth a dozen frowns.

Among the worlds expensive things
A smile is very cheap
And when you give a smile away,
You get one back to keep.

Happiness comes at times to all
But sadness comes unbidden
And sometimes a few tears must fall
Among the laughter hidden.

So when friends have sadness on their face
And troubles round them piled
The world will seem a better place
And all because you smiled.

 You are struggling...

 I see it,
I feel it,
I hurt for you.
But I must tell you, dear friend,
I believe with all my heart
that you will emerge
somehow wiser, stronger,
and more aware.
Hold on to that thought,
tuck it away in a
corner of your heart
until the hurt melts enough
for the learning to have meaning.

Candle Of Hope

Out of the darkness a candle will glow
regardless of storm clouds or harsh winds that blow,
When searching for answers this much I know
adversity is given to help us to grow.

Strength is a gift given when born
but love is the key to keeping us strong,
Hope is the answer when things go wrong
and faith will abide when all hope is gone

If sometimes you question why life is unfair
or why it seems that many don't care,
You can make a difference, accept a dare
reach out to others, begin to share.

This is the moment, this is the time
reflect on your life, you'll see a sign,
Light one candle, let it shine
bring hope to the world and all mankind.

smiles

Everyone is always smiling
No one is ever seen crying.
Everyone pretends not to cry,
But actually they do.
On the inside.

People are afraid to cry,
They are afraid of laughter, teasing and jeers.
They always paste a smile on their face
And hold back the tears,
Till laughter and crying sound the same.

Have you ever seen a clown
He always laughs and jokes.
Tarts and cream and eggs and water
Never fail to make them laugh
But who knows how they cry inside?

Cry, I'm always crying

But no one ever knows.
No one ever hears me or sees me or
Feels the tears.
I live in a world of my own.

No one comes but everyone leaves
Till I am all alone again.
No one disturbs me
No one sees me

I am nothing but a piece of glass
Taped on one side with thick tape
So no one hears me break.

Laughter and crying has no difference
Laughter can turn into tears
No one tells the difference
No one bothers to.

GOD NEVER WASTES A HEARTACHE

God never wastes a heartache
and He never wastes a care,
He never wastes a teardrop
nor a moment of despair.
He never wastes a burden
that so often we endure.
He takes them and He fashions them
to make our lives more pure.
All things that come into our lives
He's purposed that He would.
Take each and every one of them
and turn them into good.
So when the pathway's dreary
and you feel so sad and blue.
Remember, He turns heartaches
into blessings just for you.

PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY IS LIKE THE SET OF THE SAIL
                                              by Jim Rohn

In the process of living, the winds of circumstances blow on us all in an unending flow that touches each of our lives.

We have all experienced the blowing winds of disappointment, despair and heartbreak.  Why, then, would each of us, in our own individual ship of life, all beginning at the same point, with the same intended destination in mind, arrive at such different places at the end of the journey?   Have we not all been blown by the winds of circumstances and buffeted by the turbulent storms of discontent?

What guides us to different destinations in life is determined by the way we have chosen to set our sail.  The way that each of us thinks makes the major difference in where each of us arrive.  The major difference is the set of the sail.

The same circumstances happen to us all.  We have disappointments and challenges.  We all have reversals and those moments when, in spite of our best plans and efforts, things just seem to fall apart.  Challenging circumstances are not events reserved for the poor, the uneducated or the destitute.  The rich and the poor have marital problems. The rich and the poor have the same challenges that can lead to financial ruin and personal despair.  In the final analysis, it is not what happens that determines the quality of our lives, it is what we choose to do when we
have struggled to set the sail and then discover, after all of our efforts, that the wind has changed directions.

When the winds change, we must change. We must struggle to our feet once more and rest the sail in the manner that will steer us toward the destination of our own deliberate choosing. The set of the sail, how we think and how we respond, has a far greater capacity to destroy our lives than any challenges we face.  How quickly and responsibly we react to adversity is far more important than the adversity itself.  Once we discipline ourselves to understand this, we will finally and willing conclude that the great challenge of life is to control the process of
our thinking.

Learning to reset the sail with the changing winds rather than permitting ourselves to be blown in a direction we did not purposely choose requires the development of a whole new discipline.  It involves going to work on establishing a powerful, personal philosophy that will help to influence in a positive way all that we do and that we think and
decide.  If we can succeed in this worthy endeavor, the result will be a change in the course of our income, lifestyle and relationships, and in how we feel about the things of value as well as the times of challenge.  If we can alter the way we perceive, judge and decide upon the
main issues of life, then we can dramatically change our lives.
