A Situation Guide

Situation: You see someone doing something wrong, but you can't rebuke them (they won't listen...)

1-Give her the benefit of the doubt:

        a-maybe she doesn't know

b-maybe she is doing the best she can with the tools she has

c-maybe this is an even higher level than how she used to be (& she'll continue working on herself.)

2-If I were in her place, I might be worse off!

Situation: Someone insults you!

1-Maybe it just came out wrong and she didn't really mean to insult you.

2-"Everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle"-who knows what she is dealing with!

3-She's a Shaliach from Hashem to test my Middos!

4-How can she help me grow???

5-"If you don't hurt those who hurt you, all your sins are forgiven".

Situation: You do something nice, and the person doesn't appreciate it or thank you.

1-give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she will thank you later but couldn't now...

2-Take it as a reminder for all the times we do not fully appreciate all the good Hashem has done for us; the good Hashem does is pure, while we may have ulterior motives.

3-Realize that you should do things as TRUE Chessed; without needing appreciation or recognition!
