Cliff Steer has been living with his transplanted heart since 1985. His second heart came from a 23 year old accident victim. Steer has worked extensively with young people in schools and juvenile correction facilities to help them give up their addictions that eventually leads them to prison or worse-- but for the past 10 years he has been reaching out to children before they begin drinking and using drugs. Thousands of testimonies received have verified the effectiveness of this video.
Cliff's kidneys failed in 1995 due to immunosuppressive drugs he had to take so his body wouldn't reject his transplanted heart. He was on kidney dialysis for 9 months and on Jan. 5, 1996, he was successfully transplanted with one of his wife's kidneys; they were a near perfect match. Today he is living with non-Hogkins lymphoma, also caused by the prolonged use of immunosuppressive drugs. His desire is to get this life saving video into as many schools and youth organizations as possible.
