The CHELSEA GALLERY continues its commitment to Chelsea’s vibrant arts community with a move to 115 S. Main Street
that almost tripled its size in February 2007.
The gallery, owned and operated for the past five years by Gary and Doris Galvin, features original art work by
approximately 70 regional artists. The venue includes paintings in a variety of mediums and styles, forged iron,
bronze sculptures, blown, fused and stained glass, pottery and handcrafted jewelry.
The CHELSEA GALLERY has more art on display, offers framing and matting
services, and has added a
café with an espresso bar and desserts. Wine will be added to the menu as the Gallery business evolves.
The CHELSEA GALLERY will be a venue for elegant entertaining for receptions, business meetings and parties.
All of the additions complement the primary business of providing Fine Original Art by regional artists.
The Galvins are committing themselves in a broader, deeper fashion that will cause the CHELSEA GALLERY
to be a destination for an ever-increasing customer base in the immediate area and from the greater Detroit,
Ann Arbor, Lansing, Jackson, Toledo and Chicago areas.
As the CHELSEA GALLERY expands and helps spur the growth of Chelsea as a burgeoning arts community, it will
continue to serve both residential and commercial design clients with tailored solutions that include installation
and on-site review services.
The gallery is nestled in the center of unique and inviting galleries and stores
in Chelsea that provide enjoyment for residents and visitors to the Chelsea community.
We are located in downtown Chelsea, Michigan,
across the street from the award winning Common Grill
and around the corner from the Broadway caliber Purple Rose Theatre.
