The Vocal Zone was established in 1997 by Bex Hazard.  The original purpose of The Vocal Zone was working with various artists and record companies such as A&M Records Ltd., EMI and Wu-Tang and smaller labels, training and coaching the voice.  This business has expanded to provide training and coaching for Music Theatre Performers on the West End such as Miss Saigon, Cats, Saturday Night Fever and Notre Dame de Paris.

Bex Hazard graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with HONS, and obtaining several singing scholarships and awards whilst training.

Bex Hazard has been vocal coaching for several years, working with children, teenagers  and adults.  Including teaching at dance schools, stage schools and Performing Arts Colleges.

Mary Hammond FRAM, head of Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music, and vocal consultant for Cameron Mackintosh Ltd., The Really Useful Group and The Royal National Theatre.  With Mary, Bex Hazard is learning the latest Vocal Techniques for the Music Theatre and Pop industry.

Cat Llewelyn has joined The Vocal Zone as Co-ordinator. Cat is currently organising Music Theatre Performance Workshops for ALL levels. Next workshop is in August 2001.
