Bunny Goode Dolls
Bunny Goode, Doll Artist, Designer, Instructor
Ever since I was a child drawing stick figure people, I've spent most of my time studying faces. In high school I was the art editor for the school newspaper and drawing cartoons was my specialty.  Painting portraits and doll making replaced the cartoons after a time and many years were spent exhibiting in craft shows throughout the East Coast.  When my stepdaughter became a Girl Scout, her troop wanted to make refrigerator magnets, so naturally I was elected to come up with some ideas.  The little stocking faces that first appeared on those magnets were good enough for nine year old girls, but left me wondering what else could be done with the concept.  24 years later, here we are ...
My family has grown to include hundreds of fabric personalities hanging around and sitting everywhere.  They have invaded my family room, bedrooms, storage rooms and even a bathroom, and I'm still looking for more space!  We love to entertain, but people coming to our house may have to fight for space with faces and/or assorted body parts in order to find a seat.
My Profile
My imagination has produced an array of different designs and styles but every time I leave my studio and go out into the real world new inspirations loom.  Actually, some friends have told me that they are afraid that if they spend too much time with me they will end up immortalized in cotton and polyester!
