Museum Donation and Funding Needs
The income of the British Museum of Transportation is composed of a variety of sources, including periodic donations by individuals, and corporations. In addition, the Museum receives revenue from special events and proceeds from the sale of donated parts and/or memorabilia.
BUILDING PROCUREMENT NEED!!!
The Society has bid on a building in downtown Dayton, OH, to enable it to meet is Mission and Goal requirements. A physical facility to house the Society and Museum primary activities is a critical necessity and we have reached the limits of growth at the Wilmington, OH, site. While the building fund is slowly growing, it is no where near enough to fund this building, thus we are asking for you help in making this new location happen. PLEASE help us by donating to this fund!! We are asking for donations to be made directly to the Society for the Preservation of British Transportation in America, 2304 Wrenside Lane, Kettering, OH 45440-2324. The Society is a not for profit corporation registered in the State of Ohio and holds 501(c)(3) status with the IRS as an educational charity. Thus donations to the Society are deductible if you itemize your deductions.
