Being 56 years old and from Mansfield, Ohio, it's great to see your web spread on Virgil's Willy's.  He and Skip Wilson were the local heroes of the drag strip at that time, inspiring many of us hotrodders.  There were a lot of very fast cars running the streets in Richland County in the early to mid-60's, both Chevy's and MOPARS (Fords just didn't cut it), and what memories they made for me.

So cool that his Willy's has survived all these years... god, would I love to own it!  Never owned a Willy's gasser, but owning one was the dream most of us had.  It was the money part that got in the way, of course.  That wasn't such a problem for Virg, as he had parts connections all over the place and lots of trade bait sitting in the junkyard. As for me, I still haven't grown up.  Street/strippin' a 550 HP '73 Camaro 4-speed car running low 11's at 5500' altitude.  May get it into the 10's with NOS, but to old guys like me, funny gas seems like cheatin'.  Juice is the only way these rice burners can compete with good 'ol American horsepower.

Keep up the good work.
