
George Thomas James CROWE is my Grandfather. He was born in Kensington, London. His parents were George John CROWE and Eliza CROWE (nee WADDLING).George Thomas James CROWE married Mary Rose JENNINGS, at St Helens Church, in the parish of Kensington, London, on 18 January 1903.

Edward John was killed in World War 2 whilst serving with the 65 (The Norfolk Yeomanry) Anti-Tank Regiment, Royal Artillery in France. He is buried in the Bayeux War Cemetery, Calvados, France. He was a batchelor.Nellie Eliza (Helen) was the only other child not to marry.
At the time of making his Will (11 June 1920) and at the time of his death, George Thomas James CROWE was living at 81 Princes Road, Notting Hill. The premises are described as a freehold dwelling house, shop and premises. His Will states his occupation as "fishmonger". On Herbert's marriage certificate, George Thomas James occupation is described as "motor mechanic".
George Thomas James CROWE is buried at Fulham (North Sheen) Cemetery.
His wife Mary sold the premises in Princes Road on 19 October 1934 and moved to Alperton, Middlesex.
Mary was the daughter of Alfred Jennings and Elizabeth Jennings (nee Marchant).
Mary died on 21 September 1956.
