The clubhouse is situated at the north-eastern end of Golf Course Road at the top of the picture.
Weather - or not?
Forecasts for the Wash are notoriously unreliable. Fortunately the weather is nearly always better than predicted and the optimistic golfer will get his reward.
Accommodation
In Hunstanton and the surrounding area.
Try also The Lifeboat Inn at Thornham, Titchwell Manor Hotel further along the coast road, The White Horse at Brancaster Staithe, The Hoste Arms at Burnham Market or Morston Hall just before Blakeney.
This last establishment has the additional cachet of a Michelin star to offset the twenty mile journey to the club.
The lads, however, will probably be perfectly happy with a B&B and a nightly visit to the Northgate Indian!
Thinking of sneaking off for a round whilst the rest of the family enjoy their holiday?

Norfolk Golf Courses
These are the only other courses worth playing in Norfolk as part of a tour. Brancaster is the pick of the bunch and should form part of every golfer's education. It may be something of a museum piece but it has a special charm and remoteness which no other course in the world can match.
Great Yarmouth & Caister Golf Club Harry Colt design.
King's Lynn Golf Club Alliss/Thomas design. Don't let that put you off. Hidden gem. Beats The Belfry by a mile.
Royal Cromer Golf Club Old Tom Morris, J H Taylor, James Braid & Frank Pennick have all had a hand here.
Royal West Norfolk Golf Club No official site as yet. Come on, this is Brancaster! Designed by Horace Hutchinson & Holcombe Ingleby. Oh... & God!
Sheringham Golf Club Tom Dunn design.
Thetford Golf Club Designed by C H Mayo with contributions from James Braid, Mackenzie Ross & Donald Steel.
