Hunstanton Golf Club

This is not the official website of the Hunstanton Golf Club but it has been put together by one of the members in order to provide a site devoid of schoolboy howlers and advertisements for ladies underwear! It should furnish enough information for the links connoisseur to organise his visit. The official club website has now reached an acceptable standard - see link above. Some of my prose has been deleted to protect the sensibilities of members although why "knee-trembler" has fallen foul of the editor's sword I cannot imagine!

Hunstanton is an eighteen hole, links course with perhaps the slickest greens in the country. This fine course has hosted many top class amateur events and whilst it is not as tough as some of the Open Championship courses, when the wind blows it provides a severe enough examination for most enthusiasts. The last two holes, played into the prevailing south-westerly, make a particularly stiff finish.
