Economy
Economy - overview: The Commonwealth has a free market
economy, imposing no regulation other than the prohibition of force or fraud. Most member
worlds follow this practice, although some do regulate or subsidise certain industries.
This has decreased as many companies choose to locate on those worlds without regulation.
As a result, the Commonwealth is among the highest in GDP per capita. No industries are
government owned, including transportation, police, or sanitation. Commonwealth businesses
export a wide variety of manufactured goods and can often do so at a lower cost than those
in other nations, contributing to economic growth.
