Chapter 5. Crimes.

§ 508. Rape.

    1.    No person shall be convicted of rape unless it can be proven that he intentionally had sexual intercourse with the plaintiff without the plaintiff's consent.

    2.    Conviction shall require testimony or evidence other than testimony of the plaintiff. Such testimony or evidence may be circumstantial.

    3.    Consent while intoxicated shall be sufficient, unless the plaintiff was unaware of the intoxicating substance being administered.

    4.    Rape shall be punished by not less than fifteen years and not more than fifty years imprisonment, and damages of not less than £5,000 and not more than £300,000.

    5.    "Sexual intercourse" includes intercourse per os or per anum, with some penetration however slight; emission is not required.
