§ 504. Wrongful Death.

    1.    No person shall be convicted of wrongful death unless it can be proven that he negligently caused the death of the plaintiff without the plaintiff's consent. Such an act or omission shall be considered wrongful death if the person dies within two years of the time the act occurred. Such actions specified as defences to murder shall also be defences to wrongful death.

    2.    Wrongful death shall be punished by damages of not less than £200,000.

    3.    No person convicted or acquitted of wrongful death may be convicted of or later tried for murder or manslaughter for the same incident.
