§ 105. Time Limitations.
1. A prosecution for murder may be commenced at any time.
2. A prosecution for any crime punishable by imprisonment must be commenced within five years after discovery of the injury by the plaintiff.
3. A prosecution for any crime not punishable by imprisonment must be commenced within three years after discovery of the injury by the plaintiff.
4. A prosecution is commenced when charges are filed with the court.
