Detrix Outpost (Rix Star System), Maccotian Dominion, Selevenar Galaxy, Alliance of
Incorporated Worlds Sovereign Space (250103.25, 25 March [21 Vendémiaire])- Arch-Prime
Minister Wolf's transport, escorted by its three Clarel Class heavy destroyers reached the
small nation stuck in between the Romulan Star Empire and the United Federation of
Planets. The Arch-Prime Minister, on his first tour abroad, arrived early in the L'nhraei
morning, as L'nhraei warships joined with the A.I.W. escort and escorted the Arch-Prime
Minister's transport to L'nhraei, the central planet to the L'nhraei Commonwealth and from
which the Commonwealth gets its name. Arch-Prime Minister Wolf chose the L'nhraei as his
second destination as a sign of the importance The Alliance of Incorporated Worlds places
on a Commonwealth which has a very different background from the A.I.W.
Despite differences in philosophies that have become quite apparent in the only official
L'nhraei and A.I.W. exchanges at the Intergalactic Alliance of Powers, the two nations
remain committed to keeping an open and frank discussions on the roles both nations can
play to further prosperity and peace for the Milky Way Galaxy. The Alliance of
Incorporated Worlds reportedly released an internal assessment of the L'nhraei-A.I.W.
relations as being "difficult conversations, that have proven to be fruitful towards
improving relations." The Arch-Prime Minister kept a cordial attitude about the
L'nhraei Commonwealth, knowing that the differences in philosophies will no doubt in the
future cause problems.
The Arch-Prime Minister's primary aims was to finish discussion on a L'nhraei
Commonwealth-A.I.W. peace treaty. The Alliance of Incorporated Worlds and the L'nhraei
Commonwealth have been bartering back and forth in order to ensure a peace treaty which is
acceptable to both nations can be written. Stickler points have included diplomatic
privilege, economic tariffs, as the L'nhraei Commonwealth maintain a free market, while
the Council of Maccotia has inherited for the most part a socialist mixture of free and
planned markets. The Arch-Prime Minister, however, was adamant he could get a treaty
signed, "The L'nhraei Commonwealth and The Alliance of Incorporated Worlds have
expressed how important it is for us to share peaceful relations with one another, it
wouldn't make sense otherwise."
What remains to be seen is whether or not the Arch-Prime Minister's negotiating skills are
as good as he advocated them to be. The L'nhraei Commonwealth have a radically different
governing system that is characterized by their differing philosophy, a philosophy which
sometimes seems to be on the opposite end of The Alliance's.
