Annual Yard Sale

Come join us on Saturday, June 7, for our annual yard sale fundraiser! The Museum is a private organization that derives its support from its members and donors. The Annual Yard Sale is a major component of its fundraising, so come out and support the Museum!

The regular Museum schedule: Open from 10 a.m. until noon and from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

Mission

Founded in 1976, the Amherst County Museum & Historical Society collects and preserves the heritage of Amherst County, VA.


The mission of the Amherst County Museum & Historical Society is to discover, collect and preserve objects related to the history and genealogy of Amherst County. The Museum & Historical Society shall exhibit, interpret and offer those collections to provide educational experiences for people of all ages.
