Dr.
Gary A. Knutson
Hi, I'm Dr. Gary Knutson, that's Kah-noot-son (a Norwegian name). I
did undergraduate work at Iowa State University, graduated Summa Cum Laude
from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1980, and established my practice
in Bloomington in 1981.
Besides general manipulative techniques, I am expert in the care of
the upper cervical spine. Many chronic neuro-musculoskeletal (neck
and back pain) problems are due to distortions in normal postural control,
the cause of which are balance receptors in the upper cervical spine. If
you have such problems that have become chronic and you are tired of the
pain killing and muscle relaxing pills that do not address the cause of your
problem, consider a consultation with me. If you have unexplained symptoms
arising out of an auto accident or other trauma to the head and neck, maybe
I can help.
I have reasonable rates, a good reputation (ask around) and will strive to do what is right for you. I also have a weakness for oddball cars, indoor plants and colorful (some would say loud) Hawaiian shirts.
