The 1960 edition of the St Raphael's Golden Buccaneers featured music arranged by Jim Donnelly and taught by Dave Mintel. The musical program included "Madame Butterfly", "War March of the Priests", "The Best Things In Life Are Free", "Italian Street Song", "Vagabonds" and "Red Sails In the Sunset". The drum instructor was Earl Sturtze and Marching & Maneuvering was taught by the corps Director Arthur Forcier. The Business Manager was Warren MacDonald.
The corps competed in the Yankee and Greater New York Marching & Maneuvering Circuits as well as contests in the "Penn-Jersey" and "Open" classes. The Buccaneers completed an "Undefeated" season in the Yankee winning that Championship, and finished runner up in the Greater New York.
The corps was fitted out in their first set of "new" uniforms, the "Praying Angel" blouses and some soft felt "Aussie" hats were bought to replace the 'shellacked' hats that had been gotten from the Bridgeport Troopers senior corps. The Buccaneers numbered some 39 brass, 14 percussion and 15 in the all girl color guard.
The St Raphaels Musketeers "feeder" corps was organized in 1960. Their first instructors were members of the Buccaneers.
