Business Description:
Wilkins Lumber is a small, family-owned lumber business which has been operating in Milford, New Hampshire since 1808. At that time, water from Hartshorn Brook powered the saws, although only in high-water seasons. Harold Wilkins, Jr. has written a short history of the business.
Today, Wilkins Lumber offers complete logging and lumber services, from selective timber harvests to custom sawing to retail sales of native pine boards, rough cut or "finish" (planed); rough hemlock dimension lumber, wide-pine flooring, novelty siding and other types of lumber. We also sell sawdust, shavings and bark mulch.

We don't sell hardware, or wood-products like plywood or pressure-treated lumber. Tom says, "What we saw is what you get!"

Our customers range from Do-it-yourself weekend builders to custom-builders of fine homes and antique restoration experts. They tell us we have the best prices in the Souhegan Valley.

Come on by and see what we have to offer. Tom, Gil or John will be happy to help you. If your car is small, we can deliver.
