Photo of Snow Chief Delight and 5 offspring Because of recent illness, I have downsized quite a bit.  I still offer a couple Tennessee Walking horse for sale each year. (Sabino roan filly at left is by my Tennessee Walking Horse stallion, Chief Wahoo).  Please check out the "for Sale!" page. Updated 4-18-2008

Due to my illness Snow Chief Delight has been leased to Kathy Schwartz, Troy, Ohio, 937-335-5160.  Chief is getting along well in his new home, and Kathy is breeding a few outside mares.  For the time being I will still breed a few mares to Chief Wahoo (SABINO ROAN). Both stallions do a natural running walk and reproduce it, even when bred to non-gaiting breeds.

Walnut Hill Tennessee Walking Horse is owned by Sherry Duriga. My Tennessee Walking Horse gait (no trot) barefoot naturally at birth!  Click here to see baby foals gaiting at birth.  Some people refer to my horses as a Plantation  Tennessee Walking Horse because they do the gait naturally.   The truth is that some Tennessee Walking Horses just do not gait! Nothing is more dissapointing than to pay good money for a Tennessee Walker and have a horse that trots.  The Tennessee Walking Horse here at Walnut Hill gait at birth and have a smooth gait. This natural, smooth gait is called a runningwalk.    This walker gait is a "glideride" runningwalk walk that gets up to speeds of 10 miles an hour, with (no bounce) in the saddle for the rider. Thats the Tennessee Walking Horse.           Snow Chief Delight celebrates his 21th birthday this year.  We are planning a birthday party.  His name speaks for itself.  He has consistantlly been one of the top Spotted Walkers for the past 15 years.  I have owned him since he was a yearling. He was bred by Sis Osborne. Owning Chief has been a lifetime experience for me. He produced his first foal crop 18 years ago. He combines the spotted Pinto Tennessee Walker breeding through his sire, Marshall Dillion, and the old foundation Walking Horse bloodlines through his dams sire, World Grand Champion Suns Delight D.  I have bred him to my World Champion bloodline mares over the years.  He has consistently produced colorful, nice, sensible, good gaited Walking horses. Regardless the mare he is bred to. Even when bred to non gaited mares, the foals still do a gait other than trot. Most of the mares he bred over the years have been solid, and he has still produced 80% spotted foals. All have been nice, and most stay with their owners for lifetimes.

My young Tennessee Walking Horse stallion is Chief Wahoo.  Wahoo is a Sabino roan.  He throws sabino roan about 99%. He is as natural as they come.  He does and alway has done a natural RUNNINGWALK, barefoot, with out a rider, all the time. The walking horse experts that come here are just in love with this horse.  So am I he is what a Walking Horse should be. He is pretty unknown, because I quit showing a few years ago. I now do cross country trail riding.   His sire is Snow Chief Delight.  He is a great combination of the newer bloodlines with the old bloodllines.  He was born and bred at Walnut Hill Tennessee Walking Horse.    If you would like to see Chief Wahoo, click.. FAVORITE KID,  His dam (Generators Gettn Better) was top 10 TWHBEA dam of the year in 2004 and 2005.  Her sire was the great Prides Generator.  Wahoo is half brother to Metro Grand, and Generators Gettin Grander, who were born and bred at Walnut Hill.  He is just a really nice walking horse.  He has a very natural runningwalk, and is a joy to ride.  He has several foals, they are dark sabino roans, and just awesome!  Check out our for sale page to see his newest daughter, "Summer."   The rest of his foals photos are on Chief Wahoos FAVORITE KID, Page.  My favorite trail horse gelding Native Vision is a Chief Wahoo son. Click TRAIL RIDING  Photos if you would like to see trail riding photos and see this great gelding.  Most of the photos were taken at Beaver Creek State Park, Rogers, Ohio.  Some taken at Mt. Rodgers, Virginia, Elk Hill, Michigan and New River Gorge, West Virginia.
