Welcome To Rothnoran

What's New 07/10/2006

.:The Rothnoran campaign has just about reached its 3rd year of constant play (wow, who would have thought the game would have lasted this long when I stepped in at the demise of our Exalted game). We started with just three players (Big Greg, Little Sean and Alex) and have expanded to 12 players in two groups (Martin being our most recent player). Thanks to everyone for joining me on this journey.

.: The Rothnoran rules are for the most part complete. The system will continue to be tweaked but the web page will no longer host an on-line scripted version of the game system. Instead, the web page will now be used to provide information about the game world and the campaign. Anyone interested in obtaining a set of the rules in PDF format should E-mail me (use the link at the left side of the page).

.: Over the duration of this campaign my players have pointed out to me more and more D&D supplements that include very Rothnoran like rules...coincidence? Perhaps (LOL). I just think of it as the correct trend in Role Playing. At this rate, everyone will eventually be playing Rothnoran and not even realize it.

The play testers of this system between 2001 and 2005 were as follows: Greg Reid, Greg King, Bernie Tromblie and Adam Peck were the players in the first and original Rothnoran game. Greg Reid, Jeff Cutler, Sean Kennedy and Alex Workman were the first four players in the second Rothnoran game. Pat Crow, Scott Tweedie, Brian Menyek, Karl Muller, Dave Jenkens, Sara Tweedie and Bernie Trombley all joined the second game in the order listed. Rick Bachand joined the game for several sessions (scheduling difficulties have precluded his further participation)...I thank them all for their participation and input.
