More about the CORONATION STREET MAILING LIST!

As a group, we felt as the Coronation Street List grew, we needed to add some directions or guidelines for the new subscribers who arrive
to join in the banter.

It has been our experience that most folk are not here solely to natter about Coronation Street. If you expect a strictly on-topic discussion group, we may not be what you're looking for.

The Coronation Street List is a friendly group of individuals from around the globe who enjoy the long-running British television program "Coronation Street". This is the common denominator on this list.

However, at times, as is the nature of open dialogue, off-topic posts will permeate the mail you will receive, sometimes in large quantities. There are no "off-topic police" here, but we do suggest in the interest of saving bandwith that if you tend to ramble off on a tangent, that you label your subject with "Off-Topic: Hairstyles" or whatever. Everyone knows where the Delete key is, if they're not interested, and eventually we come full circle back to Coronation Street.

Please place "Spoiler" alerts in the subject line previous to the airing of the Sunday omnibus. Most list members watch during the week, but there *are* a group who watch only on Sundays. This rule *can* get a bit ridiculous - we have viewers in New Zealand whom are 6-10 weeks behind Canada which is 8 weeks behind the UK, so we have agreed on this happy medium.

We don't "do" flame wars. The moderators are responsible for terminating the participation of those who post flames or post with ulterior motives, without warning, no questions asked.

"Anonymous" posts are deleted and not forwarded to the list.

When you join, please feel free to introduce yourself. We'd like to know who you are. :)

To save bandwidth, please snip parts of the thread you're replying to which aren't pertinent to your reply. This includes .sig files and any footers which tend to accumulate.
