| The Centre Cinema is a fully-equipped cinema which operates throughout the year except during August and when stage productions are mounted, screening a wide range of programmes to suit all tastes. The Malt Hall Theatre, which seats 110 people, is equipped with a professional 35mm projection system which enables the cinema to present a full and up-to-date programme. The cinema is usually open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and there are occasional additional showings during afternoons. The Cinema is staffed entirely by unpaid volunteers and there is sometimes difficulty in finding sufficient staff to cover essential duties. The Centre Office would be pleased to hear from any member who would be prepared to offer help either regularly one evening a week or on an "occasionally when required" basis so that we can keep cinema alive in Lymington, a service which is greatly appreciated by many local people. | |
| The Cinema admission charges are, at the time of going to press: Adults £3.00, child under 15 and senior citizens £2.50 (certain programmes only). All admission charges and published reductions are subject to variation or cancellation at any time without prior notice | |
