| June 2006: | We agree that we both want to adopt again, NOW! We start looking into domestic adoptions from foster care. |
| Late-June 2006: | We decide that our hearts are really in Ukraine. Let's find out about "Flower" |
| July 7, 2006: | I found out "Flower" is coming to America with a hosting group this summer to be hosted by another family! |
| August 10, 2006: | We headed out to visit friends while the Ukrainian hosting group is there. We got to see and spend time with "Flower" |
| August 12, 2006: | Any question marks that loomed around us about pursuing another Ukrainian Adoption have left us. We know she is our daughter. |
| August 13, 2006: | We Said Goodbye to "Flower" & Our Friends and Return Home. :o( |
| August 14, 2006: | We Mailed Out Our I-600A |
| August 23, 2006: | Took Our Son To Get His Required Physical and Medical Form (For Homestudy Update) Completed |
| September 4, 2006: | The 1st of 2 Visits From Our Social Worker For Our Post Placement Review and Homestudy Update |
| September 12, 2006: | Dan and Michelle's Medical Forms Completed and Notarized (Happy Birthday to me!) |
| September 19, 2006: | The Second and Final Visit For Our Homestudy Update |
| October 3, 2006: | Received Fingerprint Appointment Letter from INS |
| October 4, 2006: | Sent Request for Marriage Certificates to Florida |
| October 4, 2006: | Sent Request for Divorce Decrees to Florida |
| October 13, 2006: | Re-sent request for divorce decrees to Florida (1st request did not have enough info. for them to process... heehee oops!) |
| October 13, 2006: | Got Dan's Income Letter About VA Retirement Pay |
| October 23, 2006: | Received Employment Letter From Michelle's CA Employer |
| October 23, 2006: | Mailed Employment Letter To CA For Apostille |
| October 25, 2006: | Had Our USCIS Fingerprint Appointment |
| October 26, 2006: | Received Our Apostilled Divorce Decrees From Florida |
| October 26, 2006: | Employment Letter Arrived in CA For Apostille |
| November 2, 2006: | Requested Letter From DSS About SW Lisencing in NC |
| November 4, 2006: | Received Letter From DSS About SW Lisencing in NC |
| November 6, 2006: | Received Our Apostilled Marriage Certificates From Florida |
| November 7, 2006: | Sent Letter to The SDA Director Requesting Information About "Flower" |
| November 10, 2006: | Got Dan's Emplyment Letter Completed |
| November 11, 2006 (or so): | Received Completed Homestudy Update and Post Placement Report |
| November 15, 2006 (or so): | Received Michelle's Apostilled Employment Letter From CA |
| November 16, 2006: | Visited Register of Deeds to Get a Certified Copy of our Home Deed |
| November 29, 2006: | Finally Recieved Our I-171 Approval! |
| November 30, 2006: | Had Remaining Documents Notarized |
| November 30, 2006: | Sent Documents off To Be Apostilled |
