Bonnie Nunnally: Founder and Treasurer

Bonnie is the founder and treasurer of F.A.M.E. She began organizing F.A.M.E. in 1997 after the tragic murder of her son, Jermel Smith, in July of 1996. Bonnie is the mother of three sons, Jermel being the youngest, and she also has six grand children. She was employed by the Kellogg Company as a Telecommunications Specialist, working as a switch board operator and a receptionist. Since retirement, Bonnie spends most of her time working with her organization (F.A.M.E.), and pursuing the issues that originally led to the founding of the organization. She enjoys gardening and taking morning walks. Now that she is retired, she has more time to spend with her grand children.

Alfred Williams: President

Al Williams is the president of F.A.M.E. and was instrumental in getting the group organized. He has an Associates Degree in computer programing, and also a Bachelors Degree in accounting. Al was employed by the Kellogg Company, where he worked as Manager of Information Services. He retired in 1998 with 27 years of service with the company. Al is a member of MT. Zion AME Church where he serves on the Board of Trustees, and is a Sunday School teacher. Al is also the Legal Redress Chairman of the local branch of the N.A.A.C.P.

Michael Nunnally: Vice President

Michael is the husband of Bonnie Nunnally and is the Vice President of the group. Michael attended Kellogg Community College for two years before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. During his tour of duty with the Marines, he spent eighteen months in the Republic of South Viet Nam (1965-1966). Michael was a Sergeant, and served as an infantry squad leader with the 1st Marine Division. Returning home from the war, Michael finished out his tour of active duty as a Drill Instructor at Marine Corps Officers Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia.

After being released from active duty, Michael was hired by the Kellogg Company where he worked for 30 years. He retired in 1996, but stays busy by working for Guardian Armored Services as an armed courier and supervisor at the Kalamazoo Base. Michael has also earned a 3rd Degree Black Belt from the International Academy of Martial Arts. He has been involved in Martial Arts for 33 years, and is a Certified Instructor in the Korean art of Tang Soo Do / Moo Duk Kwan.

Dorothy Foreman: Secretary

Dorothy is a member of Upton Avenue Original Church Of God where she serves as secretary and on the following boards: Leoda Long Missionaries, Senior Usher Board, Jr. Usher Board Advisory, and Pastor Anniversarry Committee.

She is currently employed at Kellogg Community Federal Credit Union and stays very active in community yearly events.  Dorothy is involved in Taste of Battle Creek (ticket sales), Hot Air Balloon Events (VIP tent for Allied / Nationwide Insurance Company), Longest Breakfast Table, and NAACP.

Dorothy's favorite hobby is bowling and her Motto is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", and she believes in God Almighty and that he died so that we may have a right to life everlasting.
